The staff is super communicative by text and keep you well-informed of your reservation and they are extremely responsive to any inquiries you have. The room was very comfortable - we are needing to be in Canyon Lake area for the next 4-5 weekends and we have stayed twice at the Claire so far. Suffice it to say we like the place! There is a playground for kids, a nice pool and even a cornhole and horseshoe-pitching area (it's been a bit too hot this month for most activities but the pool). The location is convenient to the primary grocery store/restaurant/bar area, nothing we've needed has been more than an easy 5-10 minute drive away.

It is not a new facility and is fairly rustic (which adds to the charm for me), so if you require shiny new developments this may not be your cup of tea.

Location was great! Perfect size for the three of us.

Was very disappointed to find out $50 fee for small dog when it was a pet friendly location. No where on website did it see there was a fee making our one night stay $200. Already almost to location when I was called about this. We were attending a wedding so no time to search for another place to stay.

Lovely location that was relatively the center of all activities we planned for the weekend. Ladies during check in were wonderful and kind.

I wish the kitchen had baking sheets, but not a deal breaker. Quieter air conditioning would have been nice, but it's still better than no air conditioning.

Very comfortable and clean, the bathroom was very spacious, and it was an easy check in.

The dishes were wet in the cabinet, and there was no space in the bathroom to put personal items.

Place was quiet and away from traffic. Had no cable or smart TV, but did have a DVD player and they had movies in the office.

The coffee pot had coffee from before and was not clean. One of the beds was uncomfortable but the other bed was great.

The property has lots of shade trees and the AC worked well. The cabin had everything we needed.

We stayed on a Saturday, and the swimming pool was so crowded (with boys playing football) that we could not swim.

We had a wonderful stay! The property is super cute and the pool was awesome. The location is really convenient and a short drive to Canyon Lake, Gruene and Wimberley. The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay special.

That our cabin didn’t have parking outside so we had to walk a little bit. Very short distance honestly but it would be nice to have it right outside our doorstep

Value and location. The room was basic and all I required for my stay. Parking is close enough though not so much during a rain.

The staff quickly and efficiently addressed minor issues with the room.
