An adorable bespoke hotel nestled in the beauty of Wimberly. The owners clearly poured their heart into the space with special details everywhere, and the people that work there do so with pride. My friend and I are from out of state and wanted to get a taste of Texas outside Austin. We made a quick drive down for a one night stay at the Bygone and were blown away by the hospitality and beauty. We joined for a cocktail making class using herbs from the garden and custom-made syrups. And we were lucky to be there for an inaugural farm-to-table dinner. As a remote worker, took note of a comfortable library with a view to work from. Highly recommend for friends, couples, individuals or even small work retreats.

Location was perfect! Close to town along with gorgeous views of the Texas Hill Country! The decor and amenities were wonderful! Quiet, relaxing and a gorgeous spot! The rooms have all the comfort you seek with comfortable beds, trendy bathroom finishes and toiletries. In room coffee provided or grab an espresso in the lobby. The pool cabana beds provided a relaxing spot away from the summer heat with amazing views and pool towels on hand. The lobby is stocked with snacks and drinks if you desire them. Definitely a wonderful stay for couples or a girls getaway!

Such a cute and accommodating hotel! All the staff was very helpful when we needed anything and the location is perfect. Just close enough to town square while still being a little away for great views of the hill country! Only took us 5-10 minutes to get to restaurants and shops. Great stay!

Our room got a little hot at night and couldn’t figure out the AC unit, but I’m sure if we would’ve reached out to staff they would have helped out.

Bed was comfortable, room was good size as was bathroom. Room was cool, AC was adequate. Pool area was beautiful as was the view from my room and pool area.

Did not like the coke machine, out of most drinks and I lost money in it trying to get other drinks that were supposed to be there. Did not like not having a better view of where to turn into the driveway, in that curve making it dangerous. Need a flag or something to show you from either direction the turnoff was soon. A little noisy from neighbors stomping around late night. Floor seamed to exaggerate noise. Also dog barking when I opened my door and during the night.

The hotel was just as pictured which we loved the updated look. Our room had a view of the pool that overlooked the hills behind it which was very nice! You can enjoy the view from the window since there's not a deck but still enjoyable. The pool was also great. The deck and loungers around it were nice to enjoy. The location was also perfectly located 5 min from Wimberley square which was perfect since we had plans to swim at Blue Hole. We will definitely be back!

The grass area had a lot of those stickers that are painful, especially for our dogs. It would be a plus if there was a patch of grass we could access for the pups. Other than that, we loved everything!

The Bygone has a good vibe. Very casual and eclectic. The view is great. Everywhere you are there is a light tune being played. The grounds are pretty with little spots to relax at. It’s a small place so everything is right in one spot. Kind of has a camp feel

The beds weren’t very comfortable.

We booked the Deluxe King suite but the lock/code on the door didn’t work. We got an another room instead of someone coming down to assist. We didn’t like the mattress. It feels like an air mattress or waterbed which wasn’t comfortable. This is just a personal taste.

I liked the view and how it’s not a lot of people on the property. We had a room overlooking the pool and hillside, it’s truly a beautiful sunrise. The staff was really nice and they keep everything well stocked. Our room was comfy and the ac worked great. We will be back!

The parking is a little hectic because it’s on a hill. It’s steep, my friend has a big truck they had a hard time maneuvering into spots. But they do have some extra parking on the side.

Everything was great! The view from our room was beautiful and the updated renovations are amazing to this property!

The bed was a little squeaky but other than that the room was great! I did mention this to staff it would have been nice to have some way to warm up food since the town square closes early.

Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Good water pressure and hot water. Staff was very friendly and responsive. Great views. Pool and pool area well kept and inviting.

Room was on the small side and streaming service wasn't very good, kept buffering.
