I booked this hotel because we had an early morning flight out of San Jose and I desperately needed to do washing before our next stop on our itinerary. The laundry room was exactly as advertised (only one washing machine in operation though instead of the 2 pictured - the other one probably in for a service). The detergent and tokens were readily available at reception. The beds were extremely comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were disappointing after the excellent meals we had in San Jose during the week. A bonus was the very nice souvenir shop in the lobby to pick up some last minute items - cheaper and easier shopping than the crowded duty free shops at the airport.

i was in room 207, when you pay the going rate you expect everything to be on point, the sink in the bathroom needs to be replaced, come on its less than 200 to replace the sink that's cracked really? lets get it fixed. it doesn't look good and makes you wonder how many ppl have stayed there and have not said anything when housekeeping is in the room weekly and yet its still liked that. Fix it! Also when we tried to turn on the heater we tried and tried to get it going before we callled the front desk on to discover it had been unplugged from the wall, it worked fine after that. Answer yourself this question, you pay the top rate and you get to the same room and saw what we saw how you feel??

Friendly staff, great price, exceptionally clean. Breakfast was first rate. Sausage, bacon, eggs, country potatoes, and French Toast. None of it tasted frozen or just warmed up. Fresh fruit, bagels, salmon & capers, cream cheese, etc. I would have gladly paid $15-20 for the breakfast buffet. All in all, it was a great experience. The mattress was slightly stiff for my companion. Otherwise, it would be a 10/10 all day long.

There were just some maintenance issues in the bathroom that could use some TLC. Example, inside the sink, the caulking was coming up when we ran the water. The best fix would be to sand down the caulking after it dried and then use epoxy for sink to seal and cover up the crack. The shower area also had some exposed holes that could be sealed to prevent future organic growth from accumulating.

Breakfast was very good. They cooked to order.

The card key to get in the elevator from the first floor was very cumbersome. Besides, all someone would have to do if they wanted in illegally is to wait on another guest to enter. A card key to get in the front door after 10pm and an extra lock on the room door would be a lot easier.

The elevator needed a room key for entry. Very difficult for a handicapped person carrying luggage. Use an extra lock on the door instead. Also, a free breakfast buffet like the other Holiday Inn's would be great.

i accidently left 3 pair of earrings on the table in the room. These earrings were very expensive! I figured i would never see them again. When i called and talked to the front desk manager, Manessa, she found them locked up in her office!! I was shocked!! In this day and time, honesty and integrity are hard to come by. Short story long, the earrings are being shipped to me today. I will be eternally grateful for the honesty of the person who cleaned the room, and for Manessa for putting my mind at ease.

The property was very clean and the staff was friendly. We came in for my brother’s funeral service and they allowed us to check in early to accommodate the funeral times. This simple act of kindness really set our minds at ease in a very stressful time.

I wasn’t impressed with the Breakfast. I have stayed in Holiday Inn Express and expected the same. I paid for breakfast and felt could have been better. Sausage was overcooked. Pieces of Waffles were in the warmer and the mix had sugar clumps.

Breakfast was good, but portions were a little small. Was disappointed with the potatoes. Too much seasoning. Especially liked the bedspread. Very comfortable.

WAY TOO dark in the bathroom. Couldn't see what I needed to do. The hall carpeting and wall paper is atrocious. Very disorienting.
