I like the cleanness and there was no animal smell, the breakfast was good and the atmosphere was just amazing. I will be visiting again because of the cleanliness of the room and the space we had even with our puppy. Even with us being on the fourth floor i cant complain and i was a little worried at first because with having to bring our puppy I just thought it would be a hassle but it wasnt. I have made this Hotel me and my family our new home for whenever we visit St. Marcus. I just want to Thank the whole Staff for making me and my family feel so welcome.

The cleanness' and the comfort of the beds, the sheets was fresh and the mattress did not have that funky smell. And the bathroom was spotless.

I liked it. The property was clean and the staff the check-in staff was very, very pleasant and very accommodating.

When we got to our room, I needed to use the restroom. The door was locked. I was able to take a car key and unlock the door. Then in the evening when we went to clean up to go to bed, we stopped the bathroom sink to put water in the sink and when we went to unstop it that was broke so we ended up having to do all our personal hygiene things in the kitchen, brush, our teeth, wash our face, etc.

For our purposes, to visit Texas State University and the Christmas Festival, it was great! Close to shopping, and restaurants, which is a plus (walking distance). Room was comfortable, very roomy (a good size room for our family) and it had all the necessities we needed for a relaxing stay. Hotel was clean, nice, and again, it had great accommodations for a good stay (our room had a full working kitchen, and it came in handy). Breakfast was good and warranted after a full night, fitness room was clean, updated and nice. Additionally, we did not use, yet the hotel has a basketball court, grilling stations and a pool (as weather was cooler during our visit). I must say that the personnel were friendly and helpful, and kept their professional composure, even though it was a busy weekend due to the university graduations, local conferences and the Christmas festival. It could have been very hectic and unorganized, but it was not. We plan to use this hotel again, when we return. Definitely recommend!

Personally, one ply toilet paper, not a fan. Also, we visited when it was really busy due to the graduations, so there were many people, and one of the elevators was out of order, this made it a bit slow in some areas, Also, there was a strong odor, OUTSIDE of the building, and it turned out to be a factory, behind the building per the hotel representative. It had a really foul smell (sewer smell), but it did not affect the inside of building, unless the doors remained open for too long. But everything else was great!

The room was big and roomy. Very comfortable. The staff was really nice. We have stayed at many hotels in San Marcos and this hotel was our favorite. The breakfast was good and satisfying. We will definitely stay here again.

My friends and I always stay at this hotel when we come to San Marcos for raves. Location is extremely convenient and walking distance from stores like Spec's, Target, Five Below, etc.; which has been very helpful for last minute essentials. We love how this property is always clean and comfy. The rooms are always able to comfortable accommodate a group of 6 girls getting ready, which is always a chaotic event. Staff is always nice, we never have issues here :) Also, I love that this property locks their doors at night! Makes me feel safe!

We have never had issues here, I have no complaints!

The bed! Absolutely HORRIBLE! The mattress was worse than a sofa bed! The fitted sheets would not stay on the bed. They constantly came off!

Breakfast was decent, everything was fresh. Good assortment.

Bed was ok but, too hard for me. Maybe better for someone whom likes harder. Overall it suited our purpose... I realize the difficult to simulate everyone's bed at home.....

Didn't really like the food all that much. But we did enjoy the view and the quiet time we had spent.

I understand that children had football games that weekend. But they were running back and forth outside of our door late thru the night playing.

They have a great breakfast and comfortable beds. The AC also works great

The pillows were different from most homewood suites and not as comfortable. The hot water is great in the mornings but the water was luke warm by the evening if you needed to shower

I love the location, super close to everything. The afternoon/evening front desk lady. She’s amazing super sweet and helpful. Unfortunately the morning front desk staff are not.
