I got this hotel room for my son and his GF when they were on the way to port Aransas to visit. They were tired after driving awhile and I didn't want them to fall asleep on the road. They arrived really late and were pleasantly greeted and checked into the hotel. The location was a perfect respite after their long drive that day. And, my son and his gf told me this hotel had the ABSOLUTE BEST breakfast they have had at a hotel in awhile (and we usually stay in quite a few hotels over the course of a year). I would also like to mention my son his 6ft-8in and is a fairly tall/big guy... with that being said, he stated the bed was comfortable and pleasant. Anyways, our whole family will be staying here more often when passing through the area.

The staff and cleanliness of the rooms are fantastic. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant.

The outside appearance has gone down since we started staying their once.a month about 8 months ago. Not appealing. The grass is about 4 feet tall and the lobby and elevator AC system hasn't worked since our last stay a month ago. I feel sorry for the staff having to work in that heat. I walked by the thermostat around 6 pm and it registered 81. If we didn't know how great the staff is and how clean the rooms are we would not stay there.

From the exterior, you cannot tell that inside, this hotel is a surprisingly clean, quiet, comfortable and well maintained property. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and professional- solid team. Did I mention that the breakfast started really early for those that need to get up and out? Superb bang for your buck.

The exterior needs a little work but the interior has been remodeled and feels very modern.

When I walked in my key was waiting for me, super easy check in!! Amazing friendly staff!! I already have my next trip booked and ready for next month!

I have no complaints at all!! It's like a high dollar hotel on a budget!!

The breakfast area was open early because there are always gas and oil guys staying there and they start their shift early. Breakfas was very good. Comfortable and quiet property.

There was quite a bit of damage from a hail storm that wasn't fixed yet, and the property common areas could have been cleaner, but the gas and oil guys have mud on them most of the time, so probably is a losing battle.

The staff was very friendly and it is located in a nice quite spot on the edge of town. I didn’t hear anything during our stay. Very peaceful!

Honestly the breakfast on the way out could of had more choices but due to us not waking early I understand. Everything we did have was fresh and held at right temperature.

This property is under new ownership and being remodeled. there are three wings. One wing is complete and all rooms have been updated, new paint, new beds, etc. The lobby is large and completely remodeled. There are also new washers/dryers.

It was a little strange to pull up and only see a couple of cars.

It was a great location! The staff was super friendly and recognized us each time they saw us.

The breakfast was lackluster. We had to have breakfast off-site because there were so few choices.

Very clean inside and out of the hotel, all staff members were extremely friendly. One of the best places we have stayed in since we both retired back in 2018. Since we travel to this location every other month, we plan on making this hotel our place of choice.

At 6AM, the coffee was not fresh, but that was minor. It was very strong; however, that is what others like. That is why i am not complaining about taste. It just was not hot like if it was just made.

The staff is wonderful and always accommodating. We stay here once a month and I would recommend them to everyone
