I liked that we parked our vehicle right up to the door and was convenient when bringing bags into our room ..don’t let the street view fool you like it did us..for years we passed this place up but then saw that it had really good reviews and decided to give it a try..Shame on us for not giving it a try before

The only drawback that we experienced was not even with the place or staff but more the other guest..since it’s a motel setup we were woken up a few times during the late night early morning hours by unconsidered loud people making noise when parking their cars and walking around talking loud while finding their room but each time was short enough where we just went right back to sleep..keeping the tv on all night helps to drown out the noise from outside but other than that no other issues

Awesome Waffles ... !! Good Location right off the hwy ... this is an older property (meaning older=good) you get more room inside more parking outside fewer people per acre !! You'd think it was a new property by the updatedness ... next door and in the blocks all around and nearby they've recently completed almost every hotel chain you ever heard of ! It's hop ON & OFF the hwy (very convenient) to go to McAllen (40 min), PaloAlto Battlefield (27min), or SPADREISLAND/THEISLAND(Just under 1 hr).

Booking.com made me pay $89/night ... Google maps showed $74 and the nice lady said it's only $59 if ya stay 7 days ... She offered to adjust my bill but when she saw "Booking. Com" she said there was nothing she could do cuz of Booking . Com ..

The remodeling of rooms was a good change. The staff seems to be doing a good job in keeping the facility clean. The staff was helpful and greeting. The location was perfect.

I have been to this hotel twice with good results. This time, maybe I did not notice before, but the room did not have a blow dryer nor an iron for clothes.

It was clean!!! NO CARPET! I think that having no carpet is smart. You have no weird odor. NO BUGS . Bedding actually smelled clean. Room was nice and cold. Nice shower with plenty of hot water. Security Cameras.

Breakfast was ok. To much sweet stuff. Coffee was great tho. I didn’t hate it but I really like it either.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The facilities were also very supportive to suit family of 6. Swimming pool was nice to use. Free Continental breakfast available.

Better pillow access and better ventilation. Not enough outdoor space for pets to run freely. Would appreciate a dog walking area.

We were blown away with the unexpected surprise of the recent upgrades in the room.

The shower however amazing, the shower head didn’t move but the pipe it was attached to did it was loose and most likely leaking in the wall. Room 108.

The room was nice and BIG. Wish there had been a microwave in the room and an outlet near the bathroom counter, but other than that, it was a nice room. Akward parking lot, but it is what it is.

Location was perfect with food option locations all around!! Staff was super accommodating when we needed extra towels and toiletries and always with a sincere smile. Beds were so comfy and loved that room was so spacious.

The only one thing we noticed was an old yellow stain on one of the beds fitted sheets. Sheets smelled freshly cleaned. But maybe just not use that sheet at all as it was unseemly.

Check in was quick, the staff were friendly, helpful, and expedient. The room was just as pictured, spacious and newly renovated.

The location is right on the feeder road which makes it easy to get to but also contributes to the noise level. Prices seem a bit high for a motel but with the lack of availability in the area perhaps it reflects demand.

The stay was great, very clean in every aspect, the staff was exceptional, they exceeded every expectation, we travel as a family of 6, will definitely rebook this place when we come back!
