Great location! Great communication. Easy to check in and out. Fantastic atmosphere and amenities. Comfortable beds and plenty of space. Wonderful water pressure, temperature of room and water were perfect, and soft plush towels. Complimentary snacks, drinks, and toiletries were top notch quality as well!

There was not a shade for the glass on the door, so the light shone in my eyes and made it difficult to fall asleep. To go cups for coffee didn’t have a sleeve, so it was uncomfortably hot trying to hold the cup and go down the stairs. Not a huge deal though.

We really thought the room was beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfy and the linens were so soft. The antique vibe was elegant and it felt like a high end hotel from the 1800. It was spacious and open. Just beautiful.

We were on the second floor and there were two set of stairs. The outside stairs were ok and sturdy. The stairs inside went straight up. They could be dangerous for a person with mobility issues or someone that just missed a step. Also, I could not figure out the wifi password.

Hico is a beautiful small town, and the location was perfect to allow us to explore it. Lovely and thoughtful accommodations made us feel welcome. Small gestures such as chocolate from the Wiseman House of chocolate, a coupon to the local merchant to continue enjoying linens and a delicious café on the first floor of the hotel.

The stairs were a challenge with luggage. But, we managed. I would recommend a covering on the glass portion of the door of Room 3 to block the light from the common area. It was SO bright in our room!

We loved the furnishings, luxurious amenities & all the extras! It really is a beautiful room as well as the community area.

This is nitpicking because it was very nice - the TV in the community room did not work

We did not know what to expect in Hico but this was a very nice place central to shops and the Billy The Kid Film Festival.

We liked this stay and accommodations - nothing to report that was bad.

I absolutely love the character in this place. I am all about character and “something different”. I love old buildings and this fits the bill. Love big windows and the large shower. This place is like a BnB without the hosts and breakfast. The common room has coffee though.

There is noise from the street like others said. Room 1 is not directly on the street so it has less road noise. The AC/Heat unit is loud - it is open ( industrial type) hanging on the high ceiling. Not a big deal for me though. I like the noise.

Spacious room with very cozy bed and charming deco. Centrally located, with easy parking. Hico is worth a visit.
