The rooms looked just like the pictures. Facilities were new and updated. Shower was hot and A/C was cold. Beds were very comfortable and staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect to avoid the hustle and bustle of downtown, yet still be within a short 10-15 minute drive from the main city. Very quiet, new construction.

There were a couple of beetles that we saw in the room, more than likely tracked inside from the outside lighting. Parking was limited.

This Red Roof Inn in Hutchins, TX is a brand new/recently reopened, "no-frills" hotel just off I-45 south of Dallas. Everything has been completely renovated: new bedding, new appliances, freshly painted walls, etc. The king-size bed was super comfortable; the linens were clean and fresh. Our room had a small (college-sized) refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and desk area with large screen TV. The bathroom was clean with a large, walk-in shower (no tub) and lighted/heated mirror over the sink area that also served as a night light. The staff was very pleasant and greeted us every time we crossed paths. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Note: by "no frills", I mean no swimming pool/jacuzzi, no exercise room, no hot/cold breakfast or bar/restaurant.

While there are "fast food" restaurants (Subway, Dairy Queen, McDonalds, etc.) along with gas stations/convenience stores in the area, we could not find better, sit-down eating establishments without driving some distance. While there is parking all around the building, spaces are limited near the hotel entrance for anyone with mobility issues. Also, the room key is used to enable some electrical lighting in the room (an energy-saving measure). We did not realize this at first nor were we told when checking in (a minor oversight).

This is a no-frills hotel in a remote area outside of Dallas. However, it is the absolute best bang for your buck. The staff was extremely attentive to our needs; the room was clean and comfortable. They offered guest laundry, which I look for in every hotel we stay at. And most of all, the room had overhead lighting!! I would give this hotel a 10/10.

The place is nice. The only thing I didn't like is the shower floor was very slippery. My toddler slipped. I held his arm but he slipped & I accidently scratched him. You need to think of the elder people. Maybe but some type of adhesive at the bottom or some type of handles. This flooring is very, very dangerous.

Jay working the front and answering the phones is amazing. I ran into an issue with booking on a 3rd party site, but i called in and he got my questions answered and got my driver booked into a very nice room with no hassle. He helped the next day when we were trying to get him a ride. Jay is just all around 10 stars.

I loved the fact that my reserved room was clean and ready with all amenities I needed . Was an easy process to book with them and have the room ready for me . Room was clean very exceptional and will be considering this hotel again .
