It's in a stylish building downtown and the rooms are well maintained in 1half 20th century style. Efficient staff at reception at checkin. Easy parking in front of entrance Elevator You may or may not like what you see in downtown Laredo and by 8pm the streets are pretty much deserted, but it is safe there. Most restaurants close by that time, some are open until 9. If you feel like a burger or wings, try ALAburger.

Feels like a family run establishment….not sure, but has that sort of feeling to it. Right near the border…classic historical hotel. A little pricey, but fair and “vale de pena”. Have stayed numerous times.

No Kleenex or cups in the room. That might have been an over sight. The bed lamp didn’t work, but I never informed the front desk.

A charming turn of the century hotel. Roomy, convenient and is easy to walk around downtown. The furniture is old but sturdy . The water pressure is great. My room was large it had many lovely views of the park and downtown.

The furniture had scratches on it which needed a furniture pen .

This is an excellent choice in Laredo versus the chain hotels. Its design in an over 100 year old converted office building is amazing. The history that is on the walls is very unique.

The elevator was not working but we were on the second floor so not a problem.

We had a fifth-floor corner room with many windows (which open), looking out over the plaza. Very interesting historical building. Large room, comfortable. Met the owners, who are quite hands-on; staff is also great. Excellent location in the center of old downtown, very walkable. Felt safe, half mile from the border.

Basic breakfast, basic towels. This isn't a luxury hotel, but if you appreciate old-fashioned, and want to be in the center of old Laredo, it's a great choice.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we felt safe during our stay. The staff were very friendly and readily helped us when needed.

Our key cards would keep demagnetizing so we had to keep getting them rescanned down at the lobby. The coffee was not very strong.

This is not the hotel's fault, but the general area around the hotel is not that great. I chose the hotel because it was very close to why I was there. That being said, I didn't have any issues.

The staff was incredibly friendly! Especially the man at the front desk who has worked there for years. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and felt welcome!

It's a great downtown location. Historic building with a whole lot of its historic charm still in tacked. The employees were amazing, very nice and helpful... The chapel/ meditation room was Awesome.

The gym only had a treadmill...
