Anne the manager was very courteous and helpful as were the two other front desk employees and breakfast host. The property was peaceful and well kept. Rooms were spacious and upgraded. The breakfast was adequate. Two ice machines, crushed and cubed was a first for us. Early check in and late checkout available. Took advantage of the latter.

The hot tub could have been a few degrees warmer and the setting was on bubbles, I do not know if there was a jet setting, but could not find it. I should have asked.. The television channel selections could have been better . The barbecue area needs cleaning up

I like that it was close to everything and not far from the beach. The room was very clean and more spacious than most. The office staff was very helpful and courteous and met every need. We definitely would stay again.

They were remodeling so there was trouble with parking and other things but one of the things that is nice about this place is they work to keep the place up which isn't easy near the beach so it was a minor inconvenience.

I love this property it’s great location, always clean, pool was nice, 5 minutes walk to beach entrance, I opt to stay here any time I go to Port A, I love the late check out option.

The room I got this time , the beds were a little on the hard side. Some stains on sheets and walls, looked like blood, I was double booked to a room. But it was resolved, the shower curtains looked very dirty, the shower looked like it needed a good clean, the new manager or owner walked around a lot.

Our room had a mold smell. The bathroom wasn't completely clean and the floors had lots of sand when we arrived. I didn't complain too much since it was affordable for the stay. And the location was great. I just couldn't believe that people are allowed to smoke outside the room doors. There was on couple smoking the devil's lettuce and smell was coming into our room. That's not the hotel's fault it was the people that were there.

Clean rooms, housekeeping does fantastic & so friendly! Breakfast good, one day went right before closing to get coffee & since breakfast had already been picked up she offered to cook me my own eggs. I declined as I only wanted coffee, but really appreciated the offer! Beds comfortable, easy walk to beach & quick drive to anywhere in town. Very roomy, will definitely return! Best of all, pet friendly!!

Would like if they offered meat everyday with breakfast (only 2 out of the 7 days they had sausage) and some fruit options.

We were there on a weeknight in the off-season, for which they apparently strongly discount their rooms. What we received for the price paid was amazing. The staff were extremely friendly, we got a hot breakfast (loved the option for mini waffles, I never need a whole one), the room was larger than expected and comfortable, and the pool was even open despite it being winter.

The ONLY thing I can find to mention is there was a rip in the couch, which didn't affect our stay or comfort in any way whatsoever; the hotel was amazing and would 100% stay again if I'm traveling in the off season.

The breakfast was much to be desired, scrambled eggs were cold and under cooked. The sausage patties had a lot of grizzle in them and they too were cold. The coffee was great!!!

I had a recurring back injury pop up so we had to cut our stay short by a day. The mgr said he would be happy to reimburse us the day but because we booked thru a third party, it would be in your hands. I sure would appreciate a refund for that second night if you could find it in your heart to do so. Thank you

I paid extra while we were there because I wanted to stay 1 more day. Just love Port A and now love Plantation Suites. Only thing that I would change is the lighting in the bathroom. For women we need more lighting to be able to put our make up on. Can't wait for our next trip to Port A in Oct and we are already booked with Plantation Suites. So excited and can't wait.

Staff is super friendly. Comfy rooms and a great location. It's a great value! Short drive to the beach, plus the pool on sight is great when they kids wanna swim but are tired of the sand.

The Kitchenette no longer has anything supplied. So bring your own plates etc, it has a small toaster oven and microwave. you can make it work but the listing is misleading. it's not a full kitchenette. it's a sink and toaster oven. We had upstairs neighbors with kids who ran up and down their room, and it was horrible. Not the hotel's fault. Next time I'll get an upstairs room...
