Breakfast is good with nice selection of pastries, cereals, and hot foods. Coffee and juice. Cold foods yogurt and boiled eggs. Nice seating veranda area outside with couple tables and chairs and padded couch seating as well. Nice pool area and water was nice and clean. Charcoal grill is available, but we took our own and actually left it with the property as we visit several times a year. It was a nice little grill , but inexpensive, so we left it for other patrons to enjoy.

Walls are kinda thin and you can hear next door or upstairs patrons at times if it is noisy. Pets possibly etc, but this is not a deal breaker for us. We have not had terrible problems with the issue. We had an issue with bathroom area light not working this trip that was fixed same day.

Breakfast was great every morning, and the location is very convenient to the beach and shopping.

The room next door, had a dog that barked non-stop, we did call the front desk the first night and the young lady called the room and asked them to please quiet the dog, which in turn they just turned up their TV to try and cover the barking. On the 2nd night it was a different young lady at the front desk and she instantly went to the room and told the people that the barking was not acceptable, and they kept the dog quiet after that.

Great location: walking distance from all shopping and not too far away from the beach. Price worthy for sure. We enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Like most beach hotels around here: for some super strange reason no place to hang your wet clothes and stuff won't really get dry inside the room. Breakfast is the classic American quite worthless stuff but it's at least something. The pool water was a little murky, probably because of people coming there straight from the sea with salt and sand - but it was still okay to swim in..

The staff was very nice and friendly. I needed help, and it was provided with no questions asked; they simply assisted me in replacing the key I accidentally left inside my room.

There is only one person at the front desk. If they are away, you may have to wait a long time for their return. It took over 15 minutes for the front desk attendant to return when I needed assistance. Additionally, there were drunk people outside the rooms, and no one asked them to be quiet. The party noise was too loud, and it was difficult to fall asleep; I almost had to call for help.

Clean hotel with great service. Great location. Mon-Thurs each guest gets two free alcoholic drinks with an appetizer. Looks like a regular motel from outside but was all we needed to have a great stay. They also rent out golf carts for $200 for a whole weekend which is way cheaper than other cart rentals around. If youre looking for something boujee this isnt your place, but if youre looking for a great budget stay this is PERFECT for a good getaway.

Only thing was the mini fridge wasnt very cold, but it kept drinks kind of cool. And i wouldnt rely on the microwave either but not a big deal for our 3 night trip.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this location. The 1st was when it was Red Roof. The location is within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, gas station, and most importantly, the beach. I really enjoyed the pool area with separate seating sections. The pool is the reason I chose to book at Oceans Edge, and the pool hours. 9am to midnight. Idk if the hours are seasonal. They also offer breakfast and it's included in the stay, I didn't get a chance to try it but it's always nice. Rooms are clean and decent size, they're not cramped at all!! This is my go to hotel stay in Port A!

The bath towels are so small!

We liked many features: cleanliness of the room, bath, and facilities in general. The room is basic, not a lot of storage for luggage but design of hanging space w/luggage rack took care of most things. Room had coffee supplies, ironing board and hair dryer. Bed was comfortable. We appreciated staff members. Everyone, from Gabrielle at the desk to grounds and housekeeping staff, was kind, pleasant, and efficient. Breakfast was hot with many options; evening happy hour offered 2 beverages per person and snacks. We loved the little pool--so clean and refreshing. From our room the site was quiet. Finally, others have commented on the great location. For us, post-season was a perfect time to visit. We'd return.

We have stayed here numerous times, and always hope it's still "as good as before"! We had a very clean room, towels and linens stain Free... bed comfortable! The breakfasts were all a little different with enough choices to find something you like. Ms. Beth kept the eating area clean! The mid-week prices totally beat other local motels. The staff is friendly and helpful in finding good restaurants for dinner, or lunch. Give 'em a try.. you'll be pleased, we think!

We encountered no issues. Even the other guests we met were polite... and, no loud parties going on!

Loved everything about this hotel from the clean and comfortable room to the nice outside area and pool! Don't let the cheap price make you think this isn't a great hotel! Everything is clean and well kept, the staff was amazing and they have a nice breakfast that I see isn't shown to be included online but it is. Plus, they have happy hour in the lobby where you get 2 free drinks and appetizers.

I have zero complaints! Plan to stay here next time we visit the area!

The breakfast is awesome, lots to choose from and the rooms are very nice and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of space inside.

I can’t say anything was bad or needed.
