A taxi driver said he won't recommend staying here but seriously WHY? It was completely clean, safe, and comfortable. I attended a conference held at the University of Houston. During day, I took a tram to the university. It was easy to access the university from the hotel. This room comes with a steam iron for removing wrinkles on clothes, which was really helpful. The room was spatial and there was shelves that I could save my clothes and stuff. Also, they let me check in early at 12pm (usual check-in starts at 3pm). Thank you!

Wifi was weak. Also, there are only stairs no elevator. I had to carry my heavy suitcase to the 2nd floor.

The room was exceptional, meaning it was one of the best I have stayed at in a while. The room was well setup, spacious and you felt comfortable. Would recommend.

Two things: 1. The toilet was so low to the ground that I had a hard time getting myself up, especially since I have lower back issues. I suggested to the front desk that maybe a handle of some sort be installed to help people get up. 2. Metro train goes by at all hours, and as such, it has to blow its horn as it goes thru the intersection near the Inn.

I went into this stay knowing that this isn't the most fancy hotel, basically managing my expectations. Because of that, my experience was really good! The room was spacious and clean, bed was comfy, and the A/C unit did a good job cooling (was worried because the room was pretty big). It was nice having a mini-fridge and microwave so I didn't have to get takeout for every meal. I was in town to move my stuff out of a storage unit, so I appreciated that the parking lot was fenced in (had to keep some belongings in my car). Maybe I didn't get free breakfast or an exercise room, but it was a safe and comfortable stay in the exact location I needed. Would definitely stay here again.

One thing to note that it's right next to a light rail stop, which is great if you want to be able to take the train into downtown or any sports stadiums! But that also means that you will hear the train horn LOUD and clear, so bring some earplugs if you want to sleep late.

There was nearby food for when I needed to do orders and the gas station was close enough to get supplies I needed. The room was a good size and pretty cozy, the couch was awesome. I was told the area was dangerous but I honestly didn't get that vibe at all in the 2 days I stayed. The tv in my room was in excellent shape too, clear picture and good channels to go to sleep to. Most hotels have the worst tvs possible. Oh and the blackout curtains were incredible, I woke up thinking it was 9am and it was actually 12:15pm.

The bed was a little firm for my taste but I was able to manage. The window unit was a little confusing but I made it work. The place in general seemed old and could've used some updates. Decent amount of cracks in the walls can be a little concerning for some people.

The room was spacious and very tidy. The decor is a little out dated but still looks nice and the microwave and minifridge is great as well. A trolley passes nearby but it was still quiet and a nice stay.

Nothing about the place was bad, although if you are looking for anything within walking distance there is only 1 fast food restaruant nearby and a gas station. So I would say, book another location if are planning to hoof it around near where you are staying, it's very sparse for at least a few blocks at the time of writing this review. 10/23

I can't say nothing negative about this place. From the excellent customer service at the front desk, the cleanliness of my room it was great location for downtown but so quiet. I LOVED the size of the room and the sofa made it that much nicer. Stores were around at my convenience Lookikg forward to my next stay.soon.

I won't say I didn't like it but I wish there was some type of complimentary breakfast. But even with that being said the place was to my pleasure.

Room had a very good AC system in the summer. Hotel is extremely close to the public transit system. Cleaning service visits every day. King size bed, large television, and a decent shower with hot water.

The hotel isn’t in the nicest area of town. Wouldn’t recommend traveling alone after dark. Restaurants and groceries are not within close walking distance. Parking lot is well lit, but wouldn’t leave any valuables in cars.

Room clean- no bugs and spacious- with our money Staff was nice and helpful. We were only 13 mins away from town and the price shocked me when I booked cuz it was so close to downtown

The only problem we had was the toilet , but I think it was all over town. We went to the convention center and the flushing was not any better . But Nothing else was needed as far as we noticed as far as services and room necessities.

Our room was clean, comfortable and remarkably spacious. The king size bed, pillows and sofa were all more than adequate, plus everything in the room worked. The location was not a problem; it isn’t the most desirable area, but there would appear to be little reason to walk around the neighborhood anyway. We drove in to central Houston with ease. Very good value for money.

The locations is a bit loud with the commuter train going by, but overall the Scott meets my needs when I visit my son at U of H. The rooms are always clean and the staff is very nice.

Just the noise at times but that is out of the control of the staff.
