Charge 25$ if u have 2 vehicle and a worker was spraying Lysol when we were eating breakfast and breakfast could be better just cereal and toast. For the price it was I guess ok. The tv only had few channels and th sheets had blood stains and when reported it to front desk they said oh well we don't have housekeeping right now. And l killed a cockroach 🪳

Cleaning staff were excellent. Had to go to 2nd floor for ice and washer/ dryer- but both worked very well. Whirlpool is part of swimming pool and was very warm. Small though. Front office very cooperative. You do have to give them $100 cash which they hold until you check out. $20 a day per pet. You have to bring your own poop bags. We had a king w kitchenette which worked very well for the week since we had cabinets to put essentials in. Sofa sleeper which we just used as a couch. TV on the small side, but we weren't there to watch TV. Good location- easy walk to the beach. Blackbeards and Donkey restaurants within the block. Breakfast isn't good- just cereal, coffee, and makings for peanut butter/ jelly. There are toasters so you could bring items of your own to toast. We were there for the Indoor Kite festival which occurred over two evenings. Tickets had to be purchased in advance- they sell out pretty quick w the amount of winter Texans. Everything is closed by 9pm pretty much. Very quiet.

Breakfast

Great price and location considering the summer time is near. The staff was very helpful and polite (Michael in the front desk is always so professional and quick at check in and checking out making sure they were there for us if we needed anything ! He and the lady who answered my phone call the day before are Greatly appreciated and a great asset to the hotel!) I accidentally booked a smoking room which we didn’t intend to due to having our kids around. I did inform the staff & to our surprise it smelled SO clean when we walked in, couldn’t even tell so that was great! ❤️ The pool & jacuzzi was amazing, the AC worked great, we felt safe and it was a calm environment. We had a comfortable stay and we will book again 🙂

Cons: The parking fee threw us off guard but many places do this & The $100 cash fee was weird but I was politely informed before we arrived so I was prepared and understand the risk of damage. (We received it as soon as we checked out! ) The toilet was a little silly and we had to make it flush but we made it work and that was the least of our worries. A little plumbing problem can be fixed easily. The hotel is a little out dated and would definitely be drilled by someone who is picky or doesn’t settle for it, could use some work and renovations , but for our last minute trip & convinience it didn’t bother our family. Not that big of a deal but for all honestly it could use improvement. Still a comfortable stay & these are only minor suggestions.

They location and value was great

The room we stayed in had a slanted door you could see the light through the top and bottom of door plus all the heat would come in thru there not allowing room to cool . There was no tissue- shampoo device had no product. And towels look so dirty instead of being white they look brown. Parking should be allowed 2 vehicles per room due to families usually travel in 2 vehicles.swimming pool needs a lot of repair.. I give the pool a 3..

The beds are always comfortable! The location is awesome and they are also walking distance from senor donkey (restaurant), which is a must when you visit SPI. The hotel price is also very reasonable. Just an FYI they do require a 100 (cash only) damage deposit when checking in, they will return your money once you check out.

They only had less than half a roll of toilet paper once we had checked in, so we had to go ask the front office to give us 2 rolls since we were staying for 4 days but they only gave us 1. So that was an inconvenience asking for toilet paper once we were out.

Good location, nice large room, quiet, simple breakfast available till 10am (not ending crazy early like many other hotels).

They require cash deposit but refuse to provide the receipt. That's totally not acceptable as they ask different amount from different guests. No problem getting it back but receipt is a MUST for any cash payment!

The price was good. Manager Sophia was able to accommodate my needs due to the fact that I'm a disabled veteran. Instead of upstairs rooms, she was able to give me a downstairs. The most important thing was that the hotel was pet friendly. With two large dogs, it worked out great. When I come back to South Padre Island, we will stay here again at South Padre Island Inn.

These, to me, are minor, but TV had no signal. They were able to replace the TV quickly. Remote batteries were weak. One lamp had a short where you could tell it was a splice before. One morning, the toilet didn't have water due to not enough water pressure. Other than that, it was a good stay.

I personally didn’t have breakfast there but my kids did and thought there could have been more variety. Not cupcakes for breakfast. Location was good easy to find.

Parking area was small. Couldn’t really see the pool but was too tired from being at beach to get in pool. Some of the channels said audio only.

The swimming pools were clean, and water had a hot tub inside. The room has a fridge and a microwave available. Also, we used the iron and ironing board for our dress clothes for the night.

The laundry room only has one washer and one dryer. We like to do a few loads of clothes per stay. So we had to go find a laundry service at night to get our clothes washed.

Great staff, clean room, great location.

Pool furniture worn, unserviceable. Continental breakfast was a piece of toast and a jar of peanut butter. Stop advertising a free breakfast and save money on your bread and peanut butter.
