My husband recalled staying at the Mokee nearly 45 years ago. Very basic but old classic motel, the room was comfortable enough for a couple of days. Not much to do in Bluff, especially in the very hot off-season, finding a meal was a bit of a challenge. Enjoyed the outdoor seating in the evening when it cooled a bit.

Really no amenities to speak of, no coffee or ice available. The bed seemed strangely rounded in the middle, we both felt like we were rolling off the edge. In fact my husband did fall off the bed.

We booked the Mokee Motel for 1 night on our way from Moab to Page to see Monument Valley. Our room had a large and comfortable bed, fridge, microwave and plenty of storage space. The bathroom was clean and everything worked. The air conditioning and heating also worked great. The room still has handmade decorations on the walls that you can buy. Overall, the room had flair and we felt comfortable. There are two chairs with a table in front of each room and plenty of parking spaces.

The room was clean, tidy and VERY beautifully decorated with indigenous art. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was also of a high standard, clean and looking brand new. We enjoyed our stay on the way from Four Corners to the Monument Valley. Would have loved to stay longer, because we really liked the motel.

The location is about an hour away from the Monument Valley Visitor Center. Of course, it would be great if it were only a ten-minute drive, but that's not the motel's fault!

Mokee Motel is an older drive up to your door style motel that has been tastefully renovated. The beds were quite comfortable. The pillows were thick foam ones that don't collapse to the thickness of a piece of paper when you rest you head on them, like you get in so many hotels now. The lady who runs Mokee is pleasant too. Mokee exceeded my expectations for a motel in a hamlet of 242 people in the middle of nowhere. Just don't expect big city amenities - there's no pool, no gym or bar.

Wifi was a little weak. Bluff UT is essentially a no cell service zone so wifi in the motel is important.

Very well presented room, plenty of space, everything worked well. Super strong shower! The town is well provisioned with a couple of very good cafes, a restaurant (tho one cafe and the restaurant are closed Wed-Thur) and a gas station which sells hot takeaways and some groceries. Fine for a stopover and close enough to Monument Valley for which there are very few lodging options close by.

Couldn’t open any windows to let in the cool September night air (though this is of course good for security) so had to use the air con which worked well but was very noisy.

It is obvious that Mokee Motel is WELL cared for. Clean, pleasant, well appointed and renovated. Comfortable bed, nice linens, spacious, lovely washroom. All and all FAR, FAR SUPERIOR to a stay at a Motel6 or similar chain. Very happy with the service. Also happy to see the roof covered in solar panels. Recommended!!!

Can't think off hand. Bluff is a small town with not a lot to see and do, but that is OK. It is close to nature and a great place to spend a night or two on a desert road trip.

Very Friendly staff. Each room had a parking spot in front of the door to the room. Even chairs and a small table if wanted to sit outside. The room had a small fridge and microwave. We had a room with an extra twin bed. It was a great space that our kids really appreciated. The bathroom shower had incredible tile work! Also, there are many different neat types of artwork on the walls, some of which could be purchased, not my kind of a thing, but fun to see a different type of decor than the "norm".

There was no ice machine. That being said, the staff did freeze and bag ice and was willing to just give us 2 one gallon bags of ice! That was much appreciated. I always look for breakfast included, this is not that kind of a place, but I knew that going into it.

Very clean and comfortable, quiet despite being on a major highway. Convenient parking in front of room. Good restaurant nearby (take a right when exiting motel and just go a couple of blocks -- believe name was Combes.

Very little on offer except room. No restaurant or vending machines (that we could fine), but that was okay -- we just wanted a clean and quiet place to stay.

Room was very nice, comfortable and better than we was expecting. Comfy bed and had seating outside for the evenings

Not the hotels fault but the location was in away from pretty much everything and not much around was open. There was a nice place to eat up the road but most other places were closed

It is a very clean, nice motel. The location was perfect for the start of a raft trip on the San Juan River. It also had ample parking for trucks with trailers. The staff was very nice and left our room unlocked since we were arriving late. The room was clean and remodeled with a good shower.

The bed was less than desirable. That was the only downside. If the mattress was newer it would have been a perfect stay.
