The staff was amazing! They were attentive, personable, and knowledgeable. The room was spacious, and the beds were super comfortable! The air conditioner, lights, and plugs all worked. The pool and hot tub were clean and clear! There was coffee and iced lemon water available all the time for free. The breakfast was hot and delicious! They offered cinnamon waffles as well as plain, cereals, eggs, link sausage, biscuits and sausage gravy, and an assortment of yogurts. Juice, milk, coffee, and cappuccinos were available. Everything was clean! The parking lot was spacious and clean.

The bathroom was a little cramped. They don't have parking for vehicles pulling trailers.

The rooms had clearly undergone a full renovation—confirmed by the pile of discarded furniture, mattresses, and lamps stacked out back awaiting collection. It was nice to see such a tangible investment in guest comfort. The pool area was clean, well-maintained, and genuinely inviting—an ideal spot to unwind. The breakfast setup was thoughtfully arranged, with plenty of space for families and children to move around comfortably, especially at the always-popular waffle station. It struck a nice balance between convenience and hospitality. While in town, we visited the John Wesley Powell River History Museum, which offered a surprisingly rich dose of historical and cultural insight into the region. As for dining, Tamarisk was a cozy spot with tasty, well-prepared food and attentive service. While it sat right along the river, the view didn’t quite deliver—what could have been a serene riverside backdrop was instead muddied by the opaque, brownish flow of the Green River. The contrast between the tranquil setting and the river’s murky appearance made for an oddly underwhelming view.

While the guest rooms had clearly been refurbished, gaining access to both the room and exterior doors was more problematic. The system relied on outdated magnetic stripe technology often requiring multiple swipes or adjustments, leading to unnecessary frustration. It was a noticeable shortcoming, especially in light of the investment made in modernizing the accommodations. Upgrading to a more reliable RFID system would bring the access experience in line with the otherwise improved guest environment.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet, we did get a very good nights sleep. The breakfast was very good, the room was very clean, easy to walk through, and the buffet area was kept very clean and tidy.

The biggest disappointment was the elevator was not working. Fortunately our room was at the end of the upper floor adjacent to the stairs. When we travel we bring lots of equipment, enough to fill to a luggage cart plus some other hand carry items. All of our equipment we needed to hand carry to our room. It wasn't catastrophic or a deal breaker. The lady at check in handled the situation very well.

When the key card didn't work, the staff came over & helped us get into our hotel room. The whole staff was nice & kind. The room was nice & clean. The breakfast area was small, but we'll stocked. Location was right off the highway. The hotel is going through a remodel, but no dust no problems.

The key card didn't work when we first got here. The bathroom was unusual with the sink separate from toilet & shower. The shower with the fancy glass doors made such a water mess on floor of the bathroom. Really unsafe.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean (mostly, just one chair had a weird stain) and quiet. We had connecting rooms and it was plenty of room for our family of 5. The breakfast was really good and my kids loved the chocolate waffles. We also loved the indoor pool and hot tub, small, but great for what we needed.

One of the chairs had a very weird stain. The keys stopped working if you got them too close to your phone.

The rooms were unexpectedly pretty perfect! Newly done with very convenient amenities. Lighting was nice, super clean and smelled crisp! Bed was perfectly comfortable and the room was quiet from outside noise.

The location was good for splitting out drive time but the actual town left a lot to be desired. No stores, restaurants or hang out places of note.

Conveniently located to Canyonlands, Arches, and Capitol Reef National Parks. Very clean, decent breakfast, and within walking distance to a restaurant and the Powell Museum. Unfortunately paper-thin walls and a gap at the bottom of the door to the room. Otherwise I would have given the hotel a 9 instead of 8.

Paperthin walls. Door to the Room had a 1 1/2 inch gap at the bottom, and whenever someone was talking in the hallway you woke up thinking a stranger just entered your room. I believe it's a simple rubber strip that's missing at the bottom of the door, so I strongly recommend adding those. I believe I was not the only one complaining about that. Sad, because everything else was just wonderful.

It was centrally located between all the UT National Parks we were visiting and much cheaper than staying in Moab, UT. My husband loved that they pretty much had coffee available all day in the lobby. It seemed like a clean, safe place to stay.

The bed wasn't super comfortable. There were a lot of breakfast options unless you can't eat gluten. Our door was hard to keep closed. We had to really work at it to make sure it couldn't be pushed open.

The breakfast was fresh, tasty, and had many choices. We were very satisfied. We especially liked the convenience of the location. We love exploring the numerous nearby scenic areas, canyons, hikes, biking options, not to mention the convenience of being close to three fabulous national parks!

We stayed in this hotel before and decided to stay there again on our return trip and we were not disappointed, very nice and helpful people, room was very clean, comfortable beds, breakfast tasty, all facilities clean and in great shape: pool, spa, dining room... complimentary evening soup was very nice touch and pleasant surprise, not seen in other hotels, we enjoyed our stay, cannot complain, would recommend to others
