We were so impressed with our stay! This hotel is a true gem - clean, comfortable, and located right in the heart of Moab, just steps from restaurants, shops, and everything downtown has to offer. The best part? No pet fees! It’s so rare to find a place this nice that welcomes pets at no extra cost. Overall, it was a fantastic value for the money, and we’ll definitely be staying here again next time we visit. Highly recommend!

Parking was a little tight, but we always found a spot, and it’s great that parking is included. The main ice machine was down during our stay, but the hotel had a backup ice machine available, which was a thoughtful touch.

This was a great spot for a family! My young kids loved the pool and arcade room. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable, and the entire facility was very clean and well kept. You can tell it was remodeled recently and they did a wonderful job - loved the retro vibe with clean, modern atmosphere. Location was awesome, walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops. It is right on the main drag so there was some noise (to be expected) but quieter than I was expecting. Staff were very friendly and accommodating! Great value!

There wasn’t really anything that I didn’t like. Breakfast was pretty basic, but still felt generous for the affordability of the rooms. Pool is on the small side, it was perfect for my young kids but probably wouldn’t have been as great if they were older.

This place was perfect!! Spacious,clean and comfortable room that fit our family of four perfectly. We have 2 boys age 12 and 10 and they loved the arcade and pool. We were so happy to be able to bring our dog. Breakfast was great!! Staff was so friendly. Location could not have been more perfect. I loved being able to walk to the restaurants and shops. Our friends came to visit that were staying in a “fancier” place down the street and said they wish they’d stayed here.

The one con which you’d probably have with any place on the Main Street is the street noise.

The cleanliness comfort of room and amiable staff. The staff Mary and Kristy were personable, extremely helpful, and directed me to several good restaurants that were delectable , along w aiding in other activities. They were also awesome with being dog friendly which was a godsend. I liked being able to do laundry there as well after days of hiking etc. Such a hassle free lovely adventure where the I could walk everywhere to town. Thank you so much and I will be back. It was memorable.

Loved the three queen beds in a room to accommodate family. Love the non-carpet floor. Breakfast was really good. You can use your streaming devices here. Within walking distance to several restaurants. Laundry facilities.

The beds were not comfortable and they seemed more like a double than a Queen. The chlorine content of the pool is extremely high. Was in for five minutes and ended up with hives and a rash. Seems fun but I would keep my kids out of there. Washer and dryer had a lot of dog hair. Seems like someone washed all their dog stuff in there.

The rooms are nicely remodeled with retro appliances and also a fun old-school phone. The rooms are nice done with new vinyl flooring and a modern bathroom and sink. The only issue we had was that the light above the sink stopped working the second day of our stay and the parking can be a little bit challenging sometimes. Also, the pool can get pretty noisy sometimes and you can hear it in the room (the pool is open till 11 pm). But overall our stay was great and the free retro arcades and the free breakfast were a big bonus! The hotel has a really good charm to it.

I've always been weary of motels, but this one changed my mind! The Expendition Lodge is super clean, the beds were very comfortable and the dessert "life is a highway" kind of vibe they got going on is a nice touch. Not to mention, the price is great! Especially for the location, which is right next to the down town. We brought our two dogs, and they were welcomed with a very small pet fee compared to any other place I've ever been. You can tell that your furry friends are welcomed with open arms here!

My service dog and I were welcomed by Joe who made sure we had easy room access, easy parking, dog treats, then it kept getting better. Extremely clean and comfortable room and facilities with a good breakfast in a well stocked area. The manager, who's name is don't recall, was also very nice and helpful with my questions. Might help to have a couple wider handicapped parking spaces. Getting things out of the truck was challenging in the tight spaces but doable. A grass dog area would be a nice bonus but probably a big ask in the desert environment.

Convenience, rooms had a refrigerator and microwave. The shower had shampoo, body wash and conditioner. Extra body lotion. Loved the free arcade. Inexpensive laundry facilities $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry. Very reasonable.

The comforters were a bit thin. No extra blankets in the room. Ice machine wasn’t working. The front desk had closed, so no ability to get ice. Ping pong table balls were so cracked you couldn’t use them. They are not a big cost to replace. The frontage to the road can be a bit noisy. If you are a light sleeper, like I am, won’t work for you

Great location, everyone was very kind and helpful, the outdoor heated pool and hot tub was an unexpected bonus! Good breakfast.

Unfortunately, we had some very inconsiderate neighbors in the rooms above us for the last two nights of our stay. Kept us up up with little kids running around until 1am, dropping things, just being very disruptive. Not the fault of the people working - they talked to the people in the room but it didn’t make a difference. The floors were very creaky and we could hear every movement, as excessive as it was for that time of the night.
