The hotel is easy to find and close to most everything that Marion VA has to offer. The front desk staff is friendly and quick to answer any questions you may have. The beds are comfortable and room is clean with updated fixtures. This property is also located about 5 minutes from The Wooden Pickle which has fabulous food and drinks.

Our room was on the backside of the hotel which I thought would be nice because there wouldn't be any road noise as the hotel is just off the road. There is a railroad in behind the hotel and a train came through 3 times throughout the night and was super loud when the whistle blew so it woke us up every time. Keep that in mind if you stay here. The hotel, of course has no control of that, so I just wanted to put out that information and would not use that as an excuse not to stay here. I have stayed here twice now and will stay again.

Mr Niehar - the manager or probably owner. Very helpful, very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Facilities in general well cared for but older and tired.

The ad on Bookings said Breakfast Included. There was no breakfast. Coffee was decent though

For the event I was there for, it was close to where I needed to be. The facilities were clean and the staff were very friendly

Wasn't a fan of the bathroom not having a fan in it, but that was a minor complaint

They could have done a better job with cleaning the room also one of the beds had some metal things sticking out

Staff was excellent. They helped me with everything I needed because I was from out of town.

Bed was uncomfortable.

Clean simple room

The listing said breakfast included, but there was only coffee. Tree crew staying there was noisy

Like any Econolodge, the furnishings for simple, but very adequate and clean. The location was excellent, very close to the interstate.

Clean; even smelled clean

Everything was perfect except the promise of a warm breakfast. The people at the front desk couldn’t even keep a straight face as they declared, “coffee, juice, and oatmeal.” A true disappointment for us. And a stupid way, when you think about it, of tricking your guests in exchange for a dollar or two of profit.

Room was comfortable. Location was great. Staff was super friendly. Parking was great. Freshly cleaned room. Very comfortable bed.

For a low budget hotel, it has everything a high budget hotel would have without blowing and Wisels
