Such a great place to stay for a night. We stop here when travelling back and forth to Florida, its a perfect midway point. The hotel is a classic, interesting history behind it, a solid building, quiet, comfy beds, clean, a good breakfast included and we like Graze on Main restaurant /bar for a drink and good meal without having to leave the hotel. This place is a must, a cut above HI Express, Hampton Inns, etc. which are fine but not in the same league. You pay a tiny bit more but so well worth it!

honestly, nothing!

I ate at the bar at restaurant at the bar both nights in the facility and met Randi and Bill, I believe Bill might have been one of the owners. They were incredibly friendly, suggested places I may visit and Bill bought me a drink. Looking forward to returning.

elevator was out of order at the time but as I was on the second floor and I had minimal luggage it was really no big deal. . Traveling by motorcycle has it's advantages :) They had the elevator working the next day anyway.

Breakfast is average, could definitely do a little better given the price of the room. Older hotels, often have air conditioners or heaters that make noise; the AC in my room made noise so I had to shut it off altogether, including the fan. I’m used to that an older Hotels but still…. I’ve stayed here many times. Love it every time. The perch on top is definitely one thing that keeps me coming back. Rooms are very inviting and comfortable as well.

Everything was nice. The spa tub in our room didn’t work but they compensated us for it. Food and drinks were delicious in the restaurant. Location was great. If weather was nice you could walk and enjoy the shops wytheville has to offer there. We enjoyed the Grind coffee shop and JoJos Antiques. Literally could spend an entire day at JoJos!

Not a lot. We were very pleased, I’d be knit picking at stuff we saw that could have made this a 10/10 but it was most definitely 9.5/10.

Location was good for our overnight stop between Florida and Rochester NY. Beds were very comfortable. The heating system seemed a little loud and the room was warm for me but I was just having trouble unwinding that night from the drive. The staff was friendly but a little noisy that night when we checked in and again in the morning during breakfast.I did like the rooms and breakfast was good!

Beautiful hotel. Love the rooftop bar with the fire pit tables. Excellent location.

The ductless split in our room wouldn't shut off even when the set temperature was reached and you couldn't adjust the veins so the air blew directly on you when in bed. We ended up turning the unit off which resulted in the room getting hot.

The breakfast space was very nice, clean, open and well appointed . The wait staff and food preparers were not friendly nor welcoming.

The warm food offered was below my standards. Overcooked scrambled eggs and sliced fried hot dogs. Simple boiled eggs would have been easy to do and provide alternatives. Cereals offered were off brand and unappealing. Bagels were OK but english muffins would be better choice. The toasters were of low wattage and it took 3 complete cycles to show any browning at all. The Trip Advisor reviews were very negative about the dinner restaurant menu so we decided to walk to the Log House for a very appealing dinner.

The room was excellent, the bed, beyond! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and proud of their hotel and town. The rooftop bar and bartender were phenomenal...............can't wait for food service and music to complete the package. We didn't eat/drink at the downstairs bar, so can't comment. The breakfast was good. We will definitely be there again as our halfway stop between Georgia and Pittsburgh.

This place is a gem. Central location with on-site upscale restaurant. Rooftop lounge completes the luxury. Park the car and enjoy. The history just adds to the experience.

Previously, the restaurant closed on Monday seriously reducing the value to me as an overnight traveler. Before that, and recently they seem to be keeping needed hours so I just mention maybe to check in advance. Other than that, this is a top place at a very reasonable price.

Very nice historical building. Rooftop bar. Full hot breakfast included. Walking distance to everything in town. Super clean facilities. Classy but laid back vibe.

The room was just a tad warm, even with the a/c turned on max. It was blowing somewhat cool air but not enough to cool the room properly.
