I have booked a room in this motel several times for different people in my family. My son and his family have stayed twice, and brother in law once for a week in the summer. This review is for December. They had a very clean and spacious room with two queen beds in separate rooms. There was a full kitchen area and tons of space. I requested no smoking, no pets, and ground level, which is easy for packing things in and out, and very quiet. They said the breakfast is really good! I love the price and how easy it is to get to. Town House Cafe (same entrance as D.Q. then go to the right) is just before you get to the Ponderosa, and a very good place to eat. We went to Goldendale Reindeer, back to town for the Candy Cane Parade and to the motel for dessert and gift giving. A fun day in Goldendale!

The bathroom didn't have a bathtub for the kids. The baseboards and some flooring could use some painting and freshening up. The view is not great, but just close the curtains. I also wished that there were some Christmas lights up or decorations to brighten up the area. It would be pretty in the summer to have some hanging baskets in spots. It's such a cute little motel and some lighting and flowers would really make it even better.:)

Awesome rooms -- clean, comfortable, good size and well-furnished. Essentially a studio apartment; our corner unit had two windows. Office staff was friendly, good senses of humor. Breakfast was filling and had mostly anything you could want (except oatmeal?). Pity we weren't staying longer.

Front building rooms could be noisy since they're street-facing, but little to no traffic at night, so not a big thing. Breakfast room is on the small side. Breakfast was good but would have preferred plain scrambled eggs rather than the "everything" type. (Maybe that's the regional style?) Spouse felt the bed was too soft and didn't sleep well. Really just minor quibbles -- the place is great!

The rooms were very clean, everything worked correctly, the front desk was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really good with lots of choices. The lady that does breakfast is very nice and smiley, and always refilling things and wiping things down and very present, if we needed anything., but not hovering at all.  Also, the beds were quite comfortable. 

We always check under the beds before we leave and found an item that we had dropped, but also found a few items that were not ours as well. We let the front desk know just so they would be aware and I’m sure they’ll be doing a better better job check under the beds, so that shouldn’t be a problem. 

Cleanliness was great, and there was a kitchen I could have used if I had planned to stay longer. The breakfast was good, and able to find enough gluten free choices to not need to stop somewhere else for breakfast.

There were some helicopters landing somewhere nearby about midnight that were loud. That was apparently not a regular occurrence, and the people there for the observatory tours would still have been awake anyway.

A clean and comfortable room with a good bathroom, great water pressure, and well-lit, but good blinds to block outdoor light, fantastic (not too noisy) A/C for a warm night, parking right outside, close to "downtown", friendly and helpful (and hardworking, it seems) reception staff, a really good "free" brekky with enough choice for a picky eater, and walls not too thin that you can hear a sparrow fart before dawn. Bonus: the nearby (.6 mile walk) Honky Tonk Saloon is not just a local watering hole with cold beer, a fine wine selection, and tasty cocktails, but also offers a great menu and some really decent people running it. Maryhill Stonehenge and the accompanying museum are only 12 miles south off Highway 97.

I am at a loss for anything to have a whinge about.

Old motel but well maintained. Very clean, breakfast is excellent with lots of choices, great, great, great. Good position, close to the highway

I'm in the building maintenance business and I would push maintenance person to look for small details, main fridge was full of ice in the ice part and door cant be closed all the way

I met the management and throughly enjoyed there efforts to provide excellent service for lesser star hotel. If you are reading this review don't be mistaken, the breakfast is a very nice, Full Breakfast", even though it's advertised as "continental". This is gem for those on a limited budget or elderly.

I had an amazing stay The front desk was very friendly the young girl was so cute and sweet I forget her name but she was a charm and the breakfast was amazing.. The room was clean and cozy and perfect for my rest on my lung journey..

The price and location - so close to the Goldendale Observatory which is why we were there. The unit was large and clean. Very quiet , and the breakfast was nice. The older motel appearance was deceiving, and in retrospect quite charming. The only thing that I would have liked to have is a pool.

Not far from town, a quiet location, breakfast was adequate if you like biscuits and gravy, greasy potatoes, scrambled eggs with bell peppers, cereal, waffles.

The coffee was inconsistent. Adequate on one day and burnt and too strong the next. No decaf was offered.
