Relatively easy to access, although it was tucked away off the street. We loved that they allowed us to have our dog stay, and gave us a room with easy access to the outdoors.

The whole building looked a little worn down and tired, despite efforts to spruce up the exterior with plantings. There was an area to the side and rear of the property where pet owners take their pets to do their business, but obviously didn’t clean up after their pets. The motel had one bag dispenser and the accompanying pet waste bin, but the dispenser was EMPTY and the waste bin was stuffed full of weeds!

The hotel is about 100 yards southwest of The Dalles Bridge, so it's super convenient if you're arriving from Washington. The room was good sized with a very comfy King bed. The sink is separate from the toilet and shower, which I like. Everything was very clean. Housekeeping actually came by the room to see if we wanted it refreshed (So uncommon these days!), and they vacuumed the hallway twice during the day. The breakfast was hot with eggs, a meat, and a carb, plus waffles, cereal, yogurt and plenty of coffee and juices. The hotel also provides a coin operated guest laundry, which is very helpful for campers like me.

Check-in was little chaotic with one of the two front-desk staffers in training. I saw parking only on the river-side of the building, so there was no parking near my street-side room where I could keep an eye on the car, and no shaded parking at all.

The breakfast is well prepared and lots of choices. The staff is great. The room was very nicely furnished and everything worked. Good wifi

The sink area needs a towel rack or hook. The front grounds are shabby. Weeds line the front of the building and there is little landscaping.

The breakfast was good and had plenty to satisfy everyone. The front desk staff recommended a nice restaurant for our dinner and we agreed totally with their suggestion. These are the kind of recommendations travelers need after a long day on the road.

Can’t think of anything, but the side access door was always open even though the sign said closed 24 hours and a card is needed to open the door.

Easy location for traveling. Gas station right there. Little play area right by hotel and pool for kiddo to play in. Beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Not many food options nearby. Hot tub was not hot and was really abrasive.

I enjoyed a very comfortable and functional room during my three night stay: well appointed with TV, internet, fridge and microwave; very comfortable bed; quiet climate control system. The room was very well lit making it easy to work and read. The room was remarkably quiet given the hotel's close proximity to the Interstate. Breakfast was available starting at 6:00 am making it possible to get an early start on my local travels.

It would have been nice to have a dark roast coffee available in addition to the regular brew, at least during the breakfast hours.

Very friendly staff clean and large room swimming pool and spa area. The swimming pool was nice and warm in the winter and the Spa was great. Free breakfast
