Room was clean and well appointed. The view of the river was interesting.
We did request a quiet location and a high floor and neither request was accommodated. There was a dog barking down the hall when we checked in, but it was quiet when we returned from dinner. And we could hear the bed squeaking next door periodically. Finally, we were told on check in that it would be a simple matter to split the bill upon checkout, but that turned out to be beyond the ability of the desk clerk in the morning, so that left us with an issue of sorting out the trip finances and left my friend without the ability to get some points on her card.

Good location. Multonomah Falls and Mt Hood is about 30-45 mins. You can walk to the Water Park and downtown Hood River. Very quiet location. Wonderful breakfast offered. Good selection. Very clean rooms and good supporting beds.
Our room was facing the highway. The room was reasonably insulated from noise . Not too noisy, but I wished we were on the side facing the river. If you are going to walk to downtown Hood River, you have to cross the highway overpass. Just be careful of cars entering and exiting the highway.

Front desk staff was really friendly and nice while the cleaning did a great job cleaning the public areas to be spotless (which is rare in hotels) and the room was clean as well. So appreciated! Also I loved the night cookies! They allow dogs and cats and I didn't hear a dog the whole time! Breakfast was also really extensive and complete.
Walls and floors are thin so get a top room if you can. They said they put kids on the bottom floors but they had ones up in the higher floors when I was there. In particular the floors can be loud and I could definitely hear kids yelling but it quieted way down at night. Also there is a train that goes by but I stayed facing the river so the noise from that and the highway was minimal.

Loved it. Text from staff after checking in making sure we were happy with the room which may be a bit invasive for some but fine to me and its nice to have a modern method point of contact other than a landline phone or going to front desk. Pool was great for kids. Fresh filtered water tap to fill up jugs before we left. 5 minute walk from downtown or windsurfing area, 2 minute drivs. Breakfast was good and fresh waffle making was cool. Room was a nice layout and felt big. Very friendly with dogs and a nice area right next to the front door where you can throw a ball for a dog and they can use the bathroom. Overall good vibe, you could tell everyone was pretty happy with their stay.
Bit noisy, our room, but that’s just what you get at that prime location. Good trade. Also no blackout curtains, so it was a bit bright from outdoor lighting.

We were given the suite because we had two little ones and it was right across from the pool, their favorite place. We were on the main floor and that was excellent because we were there to bike so hauling our bikes up stairs would have been a pain but they had thought about it all before we got there. They let us check in early, which is nice beyond!!
I have no idea what they could have done to make it better. Everybody was so nice and helpful.

Nice and convenient to walking the riverfront and downtown. Very clean and maintained property, plus staff were friendly and helpful! My kids loved the indoor pool area during the cold winter months.
Only strange thing was how the room key is deactivated everyday and needs to be reactivated at front desk during multiple day stay.

Close walk to downtown and waterfront
Make sure you don’t get rooms that face highway. Staff were very nice and accommodating, they changed our room so we won’t hear the highway noise. The pool and hot tub could use some deep cleaning. Breakfast was mediocre.

Great location, nice staff, clean, well laid out, liked the pool, hot tub.
The fruit put out was way below standards. Hood River is the Fruit capital of Oregon. The roads are literally dripping with pears, cherries, and apples. The apples for snacks were small and old and not local. The oranges were moldy. The breakfast attendant was super nice and friendly. Let him go buy some decent local fruit to enjoy.

Everything was great about this hotel, Room was so nice, bed cumfy. Breakfast was great
Front desk staff was great over-all , friendly. Received some good tips, but some staff should no a little more about the town of Hood River. Our check out clerk didn't even know there was a visitor. then alone where it was. Have staff attend Visitor Center meetings, would help

Location was close to town and the Riverwalk. The staff were friendly and helpful. Ample free parking. The Hood River excursion train was only a few blocks away.
Breakfast selections were limited. There was highway noise from I-84, but it wasn't loud enough to be annoying.
