Very easy drive from Portland/Vancouver. Magnificent setting - the views getting there are worth it by themselves. Plenty of parking. Huge rooms with the usual basics. The access to the massive jacuzzi pool and cold plunge are central to the experience - loved the big, comfortable dressing gowns the guests wear wandering around the grounds to get to and from the pool. The terrace outside the pool allows you to sit out and enjoy the forest air while staying warm by a gas fire pit. No food and drink are available at the hotel, but there is a nice restaurant at the golf course 2 minutes drive away, which gives resort guests a 10% discount on a limited but fun menu. Thoroughly recommend the Backwoods Brewing Co 10 minutes drive away in Carson - hopping!

The king bed, though massive, was pretty spongy. The guest experience could easily be upgraded to something more luxurious, but then prices would be pushed up. I would opt to keep things just as they are!

Our stay at The Carson Hot Springs in Washington was fantastic. The location was stunning, and we especially enjoyed the excellent mineral pool and unique bathhouse with mineral waters. To top it off, we were fortunate enough to have a room with a balcony and a jacuzzi, which made for a truly memorable experience.

While The Carson Hot Springs offers some unique experiences, the cost may be considered high compared to similar options (especially outside Washington state). Additionally, although the facilities were functioning well, the rooms felt a bit cramped and outdated.

Clean, comfortable and very quiet. My request for attention to my mobility issues was met. Fortunate to find a handicapped parking space near my room. I did not take advantage of the pool or extra spa services.

General parking is not for the mobility challenged, and there are limited spaces for handicapped parking. The restaurant is offsite and the food is so-so from a limited menu. Ordinary cheeseburger but excellent fries. Biscuits for breakfast biscuits and gravy were tough, and the gravy barely had any sausage. Food and debris seen on the floor in the evening was still there the next morning. Would not plan on eating here again.

The private soak and wrap were wonderful. The Elk Ridge restaurants prices were very reasonable for high quality food. Staff mostly were friendly. Baths, pool and room were clean.

Some front desk staff were not aware that I needed a ticket for the private bath experience so I had to walk back to get one. One staff member appeared more unprofessional by having a long conversation on the phone with a customer when there was a long line in the lobby and rolled her eyes when the customer on the phone asked more questions. She ignored the customers that had to wait for service. The staff member apologized the next day after being told that it was not appreciated for customers to be ignored so I’m not adding her name on here.

The resort is quite nice and has been modernized and upgraded making it far more accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but a bit Spartan. We also appreciated the fact that we were provided with an accessible room on the lower story because my wife had difficulty negotiating the stairs.

The resort is quite nice, but we arrived late and after enjoying dinner at the resorts nearby dining room, had to leave early, so had no opportunity to use the spa or pool. Closing the pool at 9pm is a real disservice to the guests.

Beautiful, serene surroundings. Very spiritual vibe. Isaac was a great attendant for my hot soak and wrap. Kathleen was a superb massage therapist. I couldn’t have enjoyed the Spa experience more.

Not a big deal but my wife thought the bed in our hotel room was slightly uncomfortable. The accommodations were fine and the overall respect from all overnight visitors to keep things quiet was greatly appreciated and added to the sense of serenity we experienced on the property.

Hot tub. You get a hot tub. No need for anything else. Honestly, i spent more time in the hot tub then in the rest of the room. And its not just a simple hot tub, its a really good one. Bed is ridiculously comfy too. Very large bathroom, great if you're coming as a couple. At least you can both be in the bath room at the same time.

Took me some time to get the shower working and it was a bit noisy. I could hear the deep voice from my neighbor, but only after i woke up. It didnt wake me, but it was too distracting to fall asleep again.

Best bed and pillows out of every hotel I e ever stayed in. The luxury robes such a beautiful touch. The pool house with the hot and cold mineral pools were sent from heaven. The scenery and the fire pit… dreamy. And the staff were all super sweet and helpful.

Cell service but only because I live on my phone for work it was nice to unplug though. And the floor in the room was a bit dusty but I really didn’t care. It was a beautiful place.

Beautiful views and soothing hot mineral springs make this a new favorite spot. We stayed in a King Hot Tub room and enjoyed soaking in the hot mineral water. It's so soothing to the body, great for the skin too. Cute bathrobes and a comfy room made this a cozy and romantic place to celebrate our 19 year anniversary (it's now where we plan to spend our 20th too). As a bonus, the Elk Ridge restaurant served us an amazing breakfast Sunday morning. My wife had a spinach and goat cheese omelet, while I had the carnivore-pleasing and delicious "Stuffed Hashbrowns", and they were so dang good! The homemade rosemary cheddar biscuits were AMAZING too! We'll be back for the tubs AND the food!

More towels for the hot tub, we didn't just use it one time, so why only one set of towels?

This was a wonderful wooded location not too far from major cities for travel. but you feel like you are tucked away out in the woods. It is a great feel to feel like you have been somewhere real special. To see the Mighty Columbia River and just a few minutes drive off that to have a wonderful hot springs soak is a great time!

Lots of stairs from the parking lot to the upper rooms... But that isn't too bad, little exercise doesn't hurt.
