Forest view room had a beautiful forest view. Lobby area is lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Room service experience — aside from the staff, who, again, were friendly and helpful — was notably disappointing. With tax and tip, I paid $57 for a kale salad and some clams that were served with terrible chorizo, and two of the clams didn’t open. This is a food safety issue and should have been caught before they were plated. But they weren’t really “plated” — their room service program is called Skamania To Go, and everything was served in takeout containers. For $57, I got to stab my kale with a plastic fork in a clamshell box and wrap up my dishes in a flimsy trash bag so I wouldn’t wake up to the smell of clams in the morning. That’s not room service, that’s GrubHub at twice the price.

My husband and I went to celebrate our 10-year anniversary and this was the perfect place to do it. The staff was excellent, so customer-centric. They were beyond helpful and so lovely. Smiles everywhere. Also, they treated to a complimentary dessert and a bottle of Champagne to celebrate. We walked all over the grounds, about 3 miles for us, and saw pure beauty.

We were disappointed that the pool/hottub was closed but it was due to replacing/repairing the roof. This is important stuff so we completely understood.

Gorgeous venue for the wedding we attended

The property booked multiple events each day, so the wedding party I was a part of were told some of the rooms we had originally been allocated were no longer open for us to use before the wedding. The alternative was fine (bridesmaids and groomsmen all joined in one room) but for such an expensive stay and wedding it felt a bit rude to take back event space. The rooms were a bit outdated and most TVs were broken, but nobody wants to watch tv in a place that gorgeous anyway.

Beautiful location and views, we were celebrating our anniversary, so it was pretty special. The outdoor hot tub was fantastic! Food was fantastic also. The town of Stevenson was so friendly.

It really was wonderful, but pretty noisy, kids running up and down the halls, but that's to be expected for a Lodge. Hardly ever a place to sit in the common area, people tended to camp out for hours at a time, which didn't allow others to have a turn, but it was ok.

It was absolutely beautiful and serene. The beds were comfortable and the grounds were welcoming and relaxing. The hot tubs and pool were perfect! Lastly, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to provide superb service.

The cost was quite high. The coffee in the rooms needs a little upgrade and a microwave inside the room I think should be a no brainer. Lastly, the pool hours could be extended a little later than 9pm for adults when the check in time isn’t until 3pm anyway.

Lounge menu was very nice and food very good. In the main dining room the menu snd its value was not that great. Could not eat the prime rib…too stringy and tough. Neither my wife nor I could eat it.

Salmon on the menu would have been nice seeing that your on one of countries main salmon watershed. Any steak besides flank steak would have been a better option…NY, Rib eye, Filet etc….

The views from the lodge were too good, especially if you got a room on the river side. The outdoor lawn in front of the hotel is a great place to hang out with family and kids. There are many recreation opportunities around the lodge and we really enjoyed the quiet time in the forest. The pool was a plus and the food in the lodge restaurant was good too.

The corridors outside of the room did not have air conditioning and so on hot days these common spaces felt a bit uncomfortable. The restaurant can get super busy - be prepared to wait for your tables even if you have a reservation. Items in the lodge gift shop were ridiculously priced so come in with snacks if you don't want to get ripped off. The bathrooms are a bit dated and require updates.

I have been to the lodge for lunch but decided to spend two nights there and it was wonderful. The staff was great. The place was clean. Everything was awesome and I also went to the PCT trail and loved the bridge of the gods

My only con was the pool only stayed open till 9:00. I wish it was at least 10 for the pool and hot tub.

The property, the location that was central to day trips, the friendly and helpful staff, the restaurant, our room, our bed, and the invigorating shower, plus a first: dimmer switches on all the lighting in the room! Most of all the view, the grounds, people watching, plus the beautiful grounds for families and friends taking advantage of a variety of games available to them. Our last night there was spent outside enjoying our meal and the glorious afterglow from the sunset that followed.

The only disappointment was the Father's Day Buffet. We arrived toward the end, however, there were still a significant number of people going through the line. The food was barely warm or even cold and in short supply. Disappointing for the price. However, I must add that all other meals in both restaurants were wonderful. As was the staff who served us.

Loved the welcoming helpful staff. Loved the beautiful grounds and building. Room was comfortable and the darkening curtains were perfect we slept well. No noise and great check in time. Will definitely be returning.

Both dining rooms the quality of the food was just good not great for the amount charged.
