Best value for a place to stay in Hood River on my ski trip, what more do you need for a place to stay after long day of skiing hard and fast, clean bed and bathroom, a microwave and coffee maker to get the dinner and breakfast ready for this price in a town where others cost $100 minimum. Easy to check in, the owner is friendly and easy to work with despite my lack of planning that I booked trips on day-by-day chasing the winter snow storm. I would stay here again if I'm visiting Mount Hood

The location was great. Close enough to downtown to walk to dinner in the evenings. Also has two wonderful breakfast restaurants within a block...Egg River Cafe and Kickstand Cafe. Both had amazing breakfast options. The owner was very nice and put us in a ground floor room with our dog, which was very convenient.

We were slightly disappointed that the spa was not working. The pictures of the lodge showed a sign that said Spa, and pictures of the pool area showed a spa. However, it was not operational. I must say that the listing on booking.com did not indicate that there was an operational spa.

Great location. Liked that it was not in town center, more quiet and easy to drive in and out. Glad it had a refrigerator, microwave and decent sized coffee pot.

Would have preferred a table and/ or desk and chairs in the room. Only had a couch besides the bed. Bathroom swing door made it awkward to get to light switches, but looked cool. Office not always open, so would have preferred to have extra coffee packets and toilet paper in the room.

Beds are super comfortable and very clean and a great view of Mount Adams! Some great breakfast restaurants right around the corner walking distance! Reasonable and had originally went there because they had full ended up not using it cause we’re so tired from climbing Mount Adams, but would definitely stay there again and the pool looks great!

Convenient location, about 10-15 minutes' walk from downtown Hood River. Room was fairly basic, but clean and comfortable and had what we needed (bed, bathroom with tub/ and a decent over-the- tub shower, fridge and microwave). The person at check in was friendly and able to help with an issue with light bulbs (they'd come loose, but easily fixed). Not there long enough to take advantage of pool/tub. Worked well for an overnight stay.

Minor quibble was that the door to the bathroom was a sliding stable-style door and covered the light switches when open, so slightly awkward - would have been better if the switches were to the left of the door.

The location was good. The entrance and exit to the parking area is a little challenging if you meet a car coming in or leaving but it was doable. The room is recently renovated and they finishing touches were yet to come. Newly painted walls and fresh carpet on the stairs were evident. The room was very clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Not all rooms were occupied due to remodeling so our stay was very quiet. We weren't told of any breakfast, however, there was a fantastic cafe next door we wanted to try so we were happy.

The television was brand new and very hard to navigate. Very little to watch and if there was cable for local channels we were unable to figure out how to use. Glad we brought a book to read.

The rooms are super clean, beds are comfortable and the location is walking distance to downtown. We feel the value of this hotel is excellent and there's plenty of parking. My spouse is very picky and when she's happy with a place we go back! Already booked our next stay.

Great location & very comfortable. This was our second stay in a week. The first stay was great. The second stay was a really nice room.

Although our room #32 seemed to be newly remodeled, there were some issues with the plumbing - the toilet ran constantly unless the flush handle was forcibly lifted up, the sink faucet handles cold & hot were reversed & very loose, the shower faucet handle is loose & the shower faucet drips constantly. The people in the room above us stomped on the ceiling & constantly moved chairs or furniture on the balcony until after 11:00pm. We had to call the office to ask them to call the upstairs room to quiet them down so we could sleep.

I was traveling alone with my 3 little Yorkies and was very grateful they allowed us to stay the night. The staff placed me in a room that was on the lower level close to the pet area which was truly appreciated and made it convenient for me to take the dogs out. Thank you to the lady that booked me in that night and I will definitely come back.

Reception was very friendly and the location is excellent. My room was renovated and was much nicer than the photos online, which was a nice surprise.

Expensive, but that just seems to be the case with all lodging in Hood River during peak summer.
