I liked the location. It was right on the river and right off the freeway. It was easy to find, and the river views from the dinning room were amazing.

I don’t think the access to the registration room/ restaurant was very handicap accessible. we parked in the parking lot in front of the main building and there were several deep steps up to the building. The “accessible” path was a ramp that led to the west wing building to catch an elevator up to the second floor then walk across a bridge to the main building, then to the registration desk. It was quite a long walk for a handicapped person. This is also the same building for the restaurant, which is also on the second floor. There were no restrooms in the restaurant. They were located by the registration desk, and those restrooms didn’t have handicapped stalls. The accessible restrooms were in the west wing.

We stayed in the Oneonta suite & it was gorgeous- perfect for us and our 22 yr old daughter as it had 2 king beds and a bedroom that you can close the door. Loved the balcony overlooking the river too. The breakfast was all organic and so delicious- loved that they had gluten and dairy free options too! The eggs felt like they were fresh from the farm and the homemade granola with the homemade coconut yogurt was absolutely to die for! My husband also loved the baked oatmeal. Loved the free wine tasting too!

You could hear the people in the rooms upstairs when they walked - so the floors and walls were thin:( The coffee both in the room and the restaurant was terrible! Super watery and no flavor. With everything else so perfect, you would think the coffee would be too or at least they should invest in a couple espresso machines..

Riverside, gorgeous views. 1 mile walk to waterfront restaurants or downtown (flat, pretty, easy walking path, no big deal). Lovely property all around. Nice bar and restaurant is very good with lots of outdoor seating overlooking the river. Heated pool, hot tubs (indoor and outdoor), sauna are right on the water with gorgeous views. Checkin/out easy, checked in early and gave us 30 extra min on checkout.

Half the plugs in our room didn’t work. Lots of cobwebs in upper windows, like a lot. Requested a later check out, was given 30m and on the dot housekeeping pounded on the door (we were leaving just then). Pool cold first day, towels tiny. Fire pit didn’t work, no cushions in chairs despite no rain. Heads up, if you book direct you get a $10 per adult food/beverage credit, $5 per kid, but not through booking.com so compare prices. Pillows need updating.

Everything was wonderful!! We have been there before. My only problem was there was fire across freeway and we couldn’t get there. I talked to a firefighter and he told us only other way to get there. Were were in line with a very long long line of semi trucks and other vehicles trying to get around. We were in line slowly moving and stopping for long periods of time. We were in the car for almost 6 hours. Didn’t get there til 10:45 pm. By the time we unloaded I went to get some food and drinks they had closed 4 minutes ago and refused to serve us! We are elderly and this experience was not good for us

I stayed on floor 3 with balcony. On a Sunday night just before summer tourist season, the price was almost reasonable. The room was clean and comfortable, and was quiet. I came to hood River by bus, after hiking Dog mountain from the seasonal shuttle. Without a car, and maybe a worse from wear, I was pleased that check-in was nice to me. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub with a view or the river helped my recovery from the windy and very steep hike.

My river view room was partially blocked by trees (301) but the pine tree was lovely, so please keep it. I tend to be stingy with my stars, but this came close to a 5 star experience. I'm glad I came in late April before Hood River gets too busy.

We were on a summer road trip through Pacific NW and wanted a clean comfortable and well air conditioned room. This hotel is the highest level option available along the Oregon/Washington Columbia River Gorge. We reserved an Executive King w/ River Views,Balcony, Adult Only,No Pets. The room was spacious and quiet with a great view of river.

It’s not cheap, and it is often booked with conferences and special occasions (weddings, etc.). The check-in area is located in a center building where restaurant is with only exterior access to the East and West buildings where rooms are located.

Liked how quiet the hotel was.

When I booked. I had accidentally requested a pet friendly room. We don’t have a pet. I called the hotel directly and talked to “ Misty” she said she had changed the room to my request of third floor and River view. When we arrived the man checking us in put us on second floor view of the parking. When I told him we were to be third floor River view. He said couldn’t change it because we went through a third party booking. I told him I had actually called the hotel directly to change to third floor with river view. He asked who I talked to. I hadn’t brought my paperwork which would have shown “Misty “ so he wouldn’t change our room. That was disappointing! But we’re happy the rooms were quiet.

The view of the river was fantastic. The room was very clean.

The bed frame creaked and cracked with every small movement. We couldn't sleep well. We could hear all conversation in the next room. The room under us had barking dogs, the front desk said they would try to locate the dog owners, but barking went on for an hour and a half one day, then more barking the nest day. Small issue, the tub wouldn't drain well during our showers.

Unbelievably beautiful location, better than photos online suggest. Would recommend a river view, worth the extra. Rooms very comfortable and quiet. Pool wonderful with views of the river. Riverside restaurant attached is excellent and would definitely recommend

Breakfast was a little expensive so didn't take this, would be great if this was included

The Hotel is located in a beautiful place right by the riverside. They have amazing and friendly staff at the hotel and riverside restaurant. Our first wow was that they have smart TVs that you can cast to and they are connected to wifi with most apps like Netflix and wifi available. The rooms are a good size and come with a decent-sized fridge with a freezer and a microwave. You don't see that a lot with hotels anymore. In most cases, you have to request a microwave or they are not available. The location is perfect and close to everything especially for us since we were here for Kiteboarding. Beautiful views of the river and bridge from the restaurant. Loved that there was ample parking.

It would have been nice If they had an indoor pool. During our visit, the air quality was poor and very smokey due to fires up north. It wasn't good to be outside, especially with a baby. So we didn't get to enjoy the facilities the 3 days we stayed since the pool and other hot tub were outdoors. The hotel room price is also on the higher side. But overall and good experience.
