Check-in went relatively smoothly. Meals in Cascade Dining Room were delicious. Staff was very polite and helpful.
Room fan was damaged and rattled/didn't oscillate correctly. Cord was too short to place in front of window where cool night air could be drawn in. Room seemed especially cramped, even compared to previous stays at Timberline Lodge. Room could be more space-efficient, allowing for places to keep unused towels, etc. Loved early morning coffee in the Raven's Nest.

We loved being at Timberline Lodge for our 1-night stay! It looked great and tidy, as usual. Our meal in the lobby bar was very good ( salmon, squash soup, beef stew) and the expensive breakfast was worth the $30.00. Really yummy including a great latte. Our room, 105, was really nice. Nice front desk staff ( actually they could have been a little more excited in their greeting skills…).
The cake for the St. Bernard’s birthday celebration ( Heidi) was fantastic but it could have been more festive if a big sign had been made (e.g. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEIDI!) and maybe a few balloons put out. The event was slated for 1:00-2:00. By 2:30 there was no cake left, no dog and no sign there had been an event except used dishes and a water dispenser ( which was nice).

Breakfast. Limited menu.restaurant Manager was rigid about not accommodating our request for a la carte items (eggs, bacon, potatoes) service was slow. I think we had an inexperienced server. She did one thing at a time, not scanning her section to see what is needed before returning to kitchen. They would benefit by table-side credit card processors.
Restaurant service kind, but inefficient

We love timberline lodge, been going the last 5 years at the same time for a birthday weekend
Happens to fall on one of the busiest weekends so it’s very crowded/ can get loud. We were given a small queen room near the pool stairs and our other party was on a separate floor.. bathroom had a drippy faucet

The place was awesome even if the pool was not available this year the hot tub was and they made a good choice in keeping that during the remodel
dinner options and breakfast options are always limited at Timberline. The café at the day lodge is pretty bleak for breakfast and sporadic as to what is offered it is always confusing to me. The Cascade dining room is top notch and the bar food is great bar food but there’s nothing to just walk up and feed my children breakfast or dinner other than the sandwiches and potato chips they need a better middle menu The hot chocolate and cocktails are off the charts wonderful

I’ve walked by the lodge about 50 times over the years on my way to the chairlift and every time I thought about how incredible it would be to stay there. It’s practically a museum where you can have a beer with the other guests you meet.
Rooms are well-maintained, but lack a little in just being an old design.

Views, location and service. Immediate access to hiking trails.
Lack of AC. To be fair, we should have noticed that when we were booking the property I guess. It didn’t help that temps were so much more above average than normal during our stay.

love the vibe and style of this CCC hotel- fabulous public areas and cute almost cabin like rooms
not really a complaint but sounds travel from room to room floor to floor etc and it’s really rather overpriced in general but you’re on mt Hood in a famous building

Easy check in, room well appointed, and clean. Large shower with plenty of hot water. Nice staff.
Bathroom doesn't have much storage, but was expected, given the age of the hotel. Our room did get fairly hot, but we also knew it didn't have A/C.

The overall atmosphere and look of the hotel was lovely and the location was spectacular.
The bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Room was very small.
