Location was excellent, close to many of the water falls, Rooms were confortable and clean, beds were confortable, We had two balcony river view rooms and they were great. Staf were nice. There is a train track behind the hotel by the river, many freight trains go by but we didn't have any problems we herd them when they passed during the day and evening but didn't hear it after 11pm, the sound it made wasn't bad, according to my wife it was relaxing for her. Don't know if they stop running or we just fell asleep and didn't hear them. They do provide ear plugs just in case.

Shower head was a little clogged and the water pressure not great.

The facility issued breakfast coupons for the restaurant next door, which meant the meal was fresh instead of sitting in a buffet. The room had recently been refurbished, very clean with excellent beds. The staff were pleasant and very helpful with all the questions we asked. Our room faced the river with excellent views. Even the trains running below the facility on that side were not a problem. Actually they were quite interesting, and not very noisy due to the very gradual grade in that section of the track.

The business room was inoperative. Wanted to print something, but couldn't.

Breakfast was delicious so many options, customer service was great and very prompt,

If they would have offered the whole menu but with an upgrade charge or something alot of the items were similar. Or even you get this much allowance per day per person and if you would like something different then what was on the menu, also our bed was a little uncomfortable but other then that it was a great stay

View beautiful Having balcony to enjoy view Friendly and helpful staff. The remote for the television did not work. Your night desk person responded immediately and did some troubleshooting. (Was more than a battery problem). He was very friendly, helpful, professional and respectful.

Not having a bedside stand on both sides of bed. Need a place for sleep apnea (cpap) machine on both sides of the bed. We both use cpap machines for sleep apnea.

The food at the restaurant next door was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised to discover the breakfast vouchers were for that restaurant. We didn't realize the number of trains traveling through on the tracks between the hotel and the river, but we loved the sounds of the trains and horns as they went by. Earplugs were provided if the sounds bothered anyone but we didn't need them. Perfect distance from the many waterfalls where we went hiking.

The room was a little pricey but worth it for the convenience to hiking trails and good food!

We had a double queen with a balcony. The view outside the room was spectacular. We sat and enjoyed the view of the Columbia river every afternoon. The location was nice and close to the waterfall corridor plus Portland and Hood River. We got a chance to go to the Bonneville Dam and see the returning Salmon, plus huge sturgeon. It was a very nice fish hatchery. There was also breakfast included with our room that was served at an adjacent restaurant. It had several options.

I would have liked room service every day but I think that most hotels aren't offering that anymore, since the Pandemic. My husband would have liked a bigger balcony but I didn't mind since the view was so pretty.

Room was very clean and spacious with a large TV. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Heating/AC unit was excessively loud. The free breakfast provided at an adjacent restaurant was off-putting (cold hash browns and spoiled half and half).

Very helpful staff because booking.com took my money but didn't pay the hotel and then told me that booking.com would refund me and i would need to relocate even though I was in the room already and there wasn't availability at other hotels. A hour and half later booking.com finally paid the hotel. It was incredibly frustrating. What the hell booking.com?

We liked the location and we liked the scenery out on the balcony. Yes, there were trains that went by but, that didn’t bother us. We only stayed one night. The staff was so friendly and great customer service.

It probably can’t be helped but the trains going by could be a deal breaker for some. The parking lot maybe could be a little bigger.

The location just of I-84 is perfect for visiting the Columbia River Gorge area. Easy access to many sites and the little town of Cascade Locks has enough restaurants to choose from. Our reservation included breakfast at the restaurant next door. Good hot food with a beautiful view of the bridge and the river.
