The room was super clean and very charming, as was the whole hotel. I would definitely stay at Hotel Planter again. It is right in La Conner, but very quiet and we enjoyed the courtyard view with the big tree out the window. They are pet friendly which is so wonderful for those of us who just can't be without our dogs. I appreciated the nice complimentary hot beverages and bottles of water.

Not having an elevator could make things difficult for some older people or older dogs or anyone with mobility challenges. At 65 I schlepped my bag up and maybe some help with that would have been nice. If I come back in 10 years, the stairs may be daunting.

It's a great hotel just at the beginning of the main street in La Conner. Good location to see this nice town. The building itself has this vibe of nice old-fashioned hotels from England or New England in the USA. Very friendly staff.

The hotel doesn't have parking and it was a bit challenging to park outside on the street. We parked on a public parking nearby (but doesn't work for overnight parking) and had to re-park later.

Excellent location in the heart of La Conner. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room and bed were great and there's a beautiful courtyard to enjoy.

Only one thing...no elevator and no ground floor rooms but the staff helped with my luggage 😉

Rooms are on the smaller side. And ironically, the bathrooms are very well portioned. Can’t complain too much because it is a historical property.

Love the atmosphere of the heritage site and decor. Back patio was awesome and quiet. Like the small number of rooms.

Parking is awkward as you have to find parking on the street, or municipal parking a few blocks away.

The hotel was beautiful. We were right on first street and had a view of the water. It was close to family, the reason for our visit and the shop downstairs with food and sweets was a plus.

Hotel is right on the main street. Beautiful antique furniture with nice mattress. Frige/freezer in room.

Bed was very high, had a hard time getting in! No breakfast but we knew that. No soap in room..

Very friendly staff. The rooms are very quaint and cozy. I thought the beds were comfortable. There is coffee and hot chocolate and cider and cookies for everyone by the front desk
