The staff was awesome, when I checked in and realized I was on the second floor with no elevator, she offered to give me a first-floor room. I am a 67-year-old grandma staying with my grandson's who is 2 1/2 years old and 9 months! I could not make it up and down the stairs multiple times during my stay! There was a beautiful walking trail overlooking the river. My grandson loved it and so did I! We made some amazing memories with the pictures taken I'm sure my grandson will come back to stay there when I'm gone, and remember how much fun he had with his Grammy!

There were not enough children's channels on television for the boys to watch. He kept asking to change it, not that one... oh well we had more things to do than watch television anyway!

Very clean and convenient location. Great views from the river view units, right off of highway so can hear some noise, but not terrible. I would stay again for the river views off balcony.

We found out it’s a completely nonsmoking motel, but there were guests smoking the night and morning during our stay at the patio below our unit. It was hard to leave the slider open during our stay due to the smoke. I assumed this was a smoking area until I told staff at checkout. That’s when I found out they weren’t supposed to be smoking there!

I met two staff. The one for day shift is wonderful and polite. I would rate 10/10 if the staff is all like her. Also, the clean lady although she looks very young like ~20, but she is very professional with prompt response. I would thank you both for their hospitality.

However,the front desk for the night shift is an inpatient and not polite which is the only dislike during my stay. She was the one helped me checked in but there was no greeting and never looked my eyes when she talked to me.

Right from the front office, the warmth was infectious..very welcoming the room simple but tastefully done.. that doubles as the breakfast room. The rooms very clean, fresh, comfortable bed,Had everything a person needs , fridge, coffee, microwave.....enough pillows..clean air-conditioning, friendly staff..nice garden... And the breakfast, fresh and lots to choose from...you can never go wrong in this place . I highly recommend it.. Thanks Kenda.. hope i got the name right

Well appointed room with fridge, microwave, comfortable bed, TV, WiFi, full bath, HVAC, etc. Minimal ambient noise as rooms are perpendicular to road. Lovely view of river out back with seating for guests. Decent breakfast. Friendly staff who clearly care about the business and patrons. Not far from outstanding views of Mt. St. Helens.

Somewhat expensive for a motel in that location.

Lewis River Inn is an excellent value for the money. The staff is very pleasant. Coffee in the morning as well as the breakfast was very good (continental with boiled eggs, nice toast options and yogurt). One of the nicest spots on the property is the little landscaped area down by the river - very well done and a nice place to relax.

It's on a busy intersection/are but that also makes it easy to find and convenient to get to places off of I5.

Our room was exceptionally clean. Simple accommodations, but it more than met our needs. We only stayed one night, for a concert in the area. We would be happy to return, for another concert or for any reason that we needed to stay in the Vancouver, WA area. Breakfast was good, and popular. The staff were very quick to replenish food items as needed.

EVERYTHING! From the front desk staff, room cleaners ,gardener(?)to the breakfast b4 you leave everything was CLEAN and beautiful! Bonus touches were the scented soap, shampoo and conditioner, lovely real flowers in vases on the breakfast tables and a wonderful river side garden patio area!A GREAT value for your money.

Beautiful, clean room in a great location. Good lighting in the counter/mirror area and nice that toilet/tub is separate room from the counter/sink.

It is an older building that is wonderfully maintained but we were on the bottom floor so you could hear the people walking around above us, the floor creaking etc. We still got a good night's sleep, though!

Very clean, privately owned motel style. Obviously cleaned with love. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The two queen we had had a balcony facing the back of the property and the Lewis River. Breakfast was the typical free breakfast you get anywhere—pastries, waffles, biscuits and gravy. The big draw was the spacious rooms and huge towels! Highly recommend this gem. Get away from the chain hotels and stay here
