We very much enjoyed our stay except for the issue listed below. The young ladies at the desk when we arrived and again when we checked out were very helpful, even helping carry bags upstairs. The breakfast was good though I don’t think I would choose a sugar infused waffle again.

We were disappointed that there was no elevator, especially since our ages range from 70-83 and some knees just don’t work the way they used to. We also noticed that several areas needed dusting, including the table the fridge sits on in the breakfast room. If this is due to construction dust, it may need more than the usual amount of attention.

Location on the Riverwalk, where we walked every day, was exceptional. Our bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. Staff were very friendly and responsive. Price was reasonable.

We were prepared for a hotel where the new owners are actively upgrading, and they are. We knew we’d have to walk upstairs to the second floor. The owners are aware of such things as a loose towel rack, etc. and changes are in process.

We liked our room looking out at the water—clean and very nice staff. I've stayed in 6 hotels in the last month and they should all use the pillows this hotel uses! Great location for restaurants and downtown shops.

More variety for the continental breakfast. All options were prepackaged options which had a really high sugar count. Maybe fresh bagels or English muffins would have been excellent. Unless I missed it, I didn't see any fresh fruit either. It was just oatmeal packets, yogurt, and danish/muffins like you'd find in a convenience store.

Had a wonderful stay here last weekend! We were in town to do some salmon fishing and the location was PERFECT. Super close to the Marina and local restaurants. This small family-owned hotel out beat any of the large corporate hotels in the area. Highlight of the hotel were the beds, SO comfortable and clean white linens. Overall super impressed with this hotel and staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a trailer and boat, plenty of space in their parking lot if you are traveling to town to fish!

Only area of improvement I would say is the breakfast. They had lots of easy to go options, but even simple toast or bagels would be nice. There was a toaster so maybe they were out by the time we went down.

The location was perfect! This is a small, older hotel right on the river. They have a very cozy breakfast room with tables and games and lots of windows, looking out on the river as well as a door that you can use to step out onto the Riverwalk and watch the boats passing through the harbor. The new owners have plans to update some things, as it is an older hotel, however it is very clean and comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We were in town for a wedding and asked if we could possibly check in a little earlier if our room was ready and they said yes absolutely. The person who greeted us when we arrived was very welcoming, as well as the evening, desk, person, and the manager who was there in the morning. The morning breakfast room had coffee, tea, juice, milk, cereal, fruit, muffins, and yogurt. We loved how quaint this hotel was, as the hospitality was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again, or recommend it to others.

Location was perfect! Minimal driving was required, my family was able to walk to so much of the things we wanted to do. The boardwalk is beautiful!! The hotel was nothing fancy but there wasn't much need to be there other than sleep and shower! The room was clean, the staff was kind. The other details pale in comparison to the beauty of Lake Michigan and the memories I made with my kids!!!

Lack of towels, thankfully we brought our own beach towels! Just accepted the fact we'd be a little sandy for the duration of our stay!

The continental breakfast was fine. The location - Perfect!

The rug in the room was rather worm. I like a larger bathroom with the sink in the bathroom and not in the hall, but all in all our stay was just fine.

The breakfast was great. The staff was amazing! The location was perfect for walking. The hotel was very clean and updated.

The breakfast could be bigger. Maybe Happy hour at bar. A Sitting area outside by river.

Staff was amazing. Continental breakfast was very nice and the games were a nice touch.

Not clean in some areas, our tub was very dirty. Things a little outdated. We felt the price was a little high as well. Queen bedrooms should face the water as well, disappointed we were parking lot side.

I loved everything about the experience staying there with the exception of the breakfast. It was sparce, bagels, a few pastries along with dry cereal and Oatmeal. Some limited fruit as well. I loved staying there and will again in the future!!
