The customer service was A1. The night manager was very informative and explained in depth of the status of the renovations and new management.

I don't recall seeing an ice machine on the 2nd floor and had to walk downstairs each time. My room door wouldn't close all the way, so I had to physically push on it to make sure it was closed. I would like to have had more options for breakfast and possibly a second waffle iron maker. Long lines to make 1 waffle.

Location is easy in and out. Staff was excellent and very accomodating. Room was very quiet - conducive to a good nights' sleep. Plenty of hot water for showers. Great mini fridge and microwave. Comforter on bed was light yet warm.

Breakfast was not impressive. Don't come here expecting eggs, bacon, etc. It has bare necessities like coffee, dry cereal, bread for toast and batter mix for waffles. Some fresh fruit (apples, orange, bananas).

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel! It is right downtown, in an older building that has been well maintained and is very clean. The staff was very nice and everything went very smoothly. The common area where you eat breakfast is sunny and welcoming. The owners are clearly working to make the place nice.

The breakfast is kind of sad but pretty much what you expect from a continental breakfast. Hard to complain about free coffee in the morning though!

Liked all staff except one (one with fancy nails) who was quite courteous but really not effective in solving my questions. She simply didn’t follow through on her comments. The other staff made up for her. Very clean in all areas & location better than expected relative to the price of the room.

Originally booked for 7 days but arrived one day early so registered for 8 days on arrival. Rate for eighth day created a discrepancy but was resolved after several discussions — at least the current charges to my visa appear to be reasonably within the peramiters discussed. Breakfast- eggs & sausage were in limited supply but not a major concern for me.

The room was comfortably cool and clean. After my nine hour drive across Wisconsin down from Lutsen MN it was a welcome sight. Great sleep I was satisfied and rested for next day trip on the Badger. Good breakfast.

All was fairly well remodeled. However, I did find that one of the tiles in the bathroom seemed to have a slight rough sharp edge. I was careful around it so as not to cut a bare foot on it. Should probably look at it and repair or grout more. I failed to mention it to the desk before I checked out. But overall I only needed a place to sleep without all the fuss and extreme amenities.to which you successfully provided.

Room was updated, clean and spacious. Easy walk to many restaurants and breweries. Ample parking. Quick and easy check-in with a friendly staff.

Breakfast options were pretty basic, but were replenished often.

The lobby is beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and had a nice variety.

There is no elevator, so being on the second floor with lots of luggage was a challenge, but not too bad.

Everything was good, the room, staff (good front desk guy), clean, breakfast!

No eggs, no cheese in the breakfast but the price was fair.

Breakfast was awesome.Forgot lock for bicycles.Still there in morning.Very quiet and safe area.Staff very helpful with t.v. ( believed it was operator error)even the maids were very polite and friendly.

I think the pay should should be better for all the help.

Stairs were terrible, you need to put in an elevator, seniors have trouble going up and down stairs, second floor was only options, no first floor rooms.
