That they couldn't find my reservation because some how because BOOKING.COM cancelled it, even after getting a confirmation email from you 4 days before our stay. This also happened to friends that were going to the same event as us. Even though the hotel apologized for the situation and we got a lovely room for the same price, it was annoying and frustrating. I also asked for a price match and sent all the information to BOOKING.COM 3 TIMES and never got a price match.

Management went out of their way to get us a room when BOOKING,COM left us with no reservations. The General Manager honored the price only because I had your Confirmation on my phone. They had nothing from you! A difference of $200.

BOOKING.COM! I sat in the lobby , on the phone with BOOKING.COM for 45 minutes getting the runaround from THREE different BOOKING,COM employees that couldn't figure out what to do for us after FAILING to do their job of sending our reservations to Hotel MEAD!

Loved the room and the separate sitting area to relax in. Liked the hot tub and the morning breakfast. The room rate was fantastic. Originally this was my hometown and traveled for a class reunion. Was happy to support my Hometown hotel

There was not really anything I didn't like, I know that updates are always a work in progress.

I only got to take advantage of the free breakfast one day, but it was good. The coffee is exceptionally good. This hotel took a downturn several years ago, but it is clearly back in the game with friendly service and nice clean rooms and common areas.

That there was a large pool and hot tub. The room layout was nice with a living room and bed separate with 2 tvs. That their was a microwave, hair dryer, and refrigerator.

The ceiling in the pool area was peeling paint really bad, the pool was overdue for a remodel and had crumbling walls and stained tiles, the sauna was not operational, the bathrooms at the pool were outdated and had a rust odor. The pool was closing a day early for repairs after website said it would be closed the following day. The staff was very polite about it and still let my daughter and i swim until 1pm. The west tower main entrance always smelled like cigarette smoke idk if it was from employees sitting outside the door smoking on break or guests blowing smoke when they entered the double doors.

I had chicken wings and they were awesome. I have stayed at the Mead many times over the years when I come to see my friend's band-The Lizardz. They were playing at Hollyrocks which is like a one block walk. What I and others miss is the music on the patio that the Mead used to have. It was a nice little area to kick back and listen to music. Besides that I don't have any complaints about the hotel.

It was close to everything in town, everything was 10 minutes away. Property had awesome restaurants on site. The waitress at Whitney’s was awesome and personable.

Large dog barked all night.

I liked the location and the quiet.

I didn't like the long walk to my room 269, yet I was thankful I had walking ability. The bathroom fan didn't work. The fridge wasn't cold enough, and there was no freezer. I expected a toothbrush and paste, so I didn't bring one. My bad. Lesson learned. Only there one night.

The restaurant staff were amazing to sit down and chat with.

The Wi-Fi cuts out every 2 minutes or so and is a complete dead zone for U.S. Cellular so trying to be productive for work is impossible.

I liked the breakfast and the easy check in and check out Also my room was very clean 👍👌👌

The extremely small television it would be a ten if the TV was larger.
