Was convenient and clean, nice.

Room was very nice, clean and new.

They put 2 $50 holds on my bank acct. One was added in with the room charge increasing the total amount for the room, which didn't come off for 3 days after we checked out. The other separate $50 didn't come off until 5 days after we checked out. Marilyn at the front desk was very helpful and tried to have manager give me a call to explain the charges. The shift manager never called, when I called in, she said she didn't know what the charges were and I would have to call my bank. I've never had that happen at a hotel before. I didn't appreciate it. The hotel should at least train their employees to answer questions about the holds. I ended up wasting a lot of time on hold with my bank where the customer service person was able to quickly and easily explain the pending charges.

The room was WONDERFUL! nice furnishings. Very CLEAN. they asked if we wanted a coffee maker and we said yes, and one was given to us. Otherwise, a microwave, small refrigerator, and all other expected amenities were fantastic.

When we arrived, the sign said check in at the DINER which was a fifties aluminum restaurant building 50' from the hotel. No problem with this except there was only one person in the diner available and he was the cook and could not check us in. His waitress (who took orders, served, and also did the check-in) was out on a VAN run to pick up RR workers. We had to wait over 15 minutes, sitting in the Diner before she came back and could check us in. We were road weary and just wanted to get to our room as soon as possible.

The room definitely met expectations and we had a restful stay. A couple of quirks/things to know... Check-in is at a booth in the foyer of Penny's Diner, on the property. Ice buckets are available in the first floor hallway. As hotel guests, we received a credit toward breakfast in Penny's Diner. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast. Exercise room and treadmill worked fine. Our quick travel stay didn't give time for local attractions, but we got gas, shopped for travel needs, and enjoyed a nifty local steakhouse just half a mile to the north.

Small quibble; some staining on the molded nonskid mat on the bottom of the bathtub.

Location was easy access to the freeway. Clean, comfortable bed, HOT water, bathtub, great free wi-fi, microwave, fridge, TV, abundance of towels, very friendly receptionist and staff, a very nice facility overall. Very reasonable rates compared to others we stayed at in the same area with much higher prices and much less value. We will stay there again in the future!

There was no free breakfast! 50 mph winds in the area which wasn't their fault!

Great location - a little off the main road so not noisy. Rooms were SO spacious. Big, comfy king sized bed, two air conditioner units, two windows, eating area with a table and two chairs, wing back chair with an ottoman, large sink area, big bathroom, desk, just lots of space! They do blackout curtains right here - magnetic so no light got in during the night or early morning! Amazing exercise room - all the usual stuff plus even a sprinting machine (like a stair stepper sort of but for sprinting)! Who has those? Friendly staff. Great rate! Great service at the restaurant right on the property (separate building) for breakfast (not included, but good prices and lots of food).

I realize that staffing is beyond their control so the restaurant next door (where you also checked in) wasn't open for dinner when we got in, but other restaurants were close by.

Everything. Great property that is well-maintained and has a fabulous staff! On our 9-day road trip, this was the ONE hotel that read our special request for lightweight blankets and made up the beds so we didn’t have to unmake them to accommodate! Twila, the manager, was incredibly kind and helpful, and I only wish other hotels in this chain (and others) would pay attention to their guests the way she did with us! A hotel is only as good as its employees, and she’s fabulous!! Made our entire trip!!

I only wish there were more Twilas in the world.

I was exhausted and the woman who checked me in was quick and friendly. I like to have my coffee when I get up in the morning. It was nice that there was a sign on the door about asking for coffee machine to take to your room. The pot and condiments where ready to go. The room was extremely clean.

The inside window lock was broken. The other windows locked so it wasn’t a big safety concern, but as a woman traveling along staying on the first floor, I would have felt better if all windows locked.

It was very secure. Required key access to enter the building. Room was clean, quiet and everything worked.

When checking in at the Diner the clerk said breakfast would be available for purchase at 6:30am. When we checked out. Breakfast wouldn't be open until 8 am. Had to skip breakfast.

The value for the accommodations, the location for highway and access to restaurants and other venues made it a pleasant experience.
