Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. The location was good, easy walking distance to great restaurants and downtown area, which was really not that far. We walked it each day. The breakfast is good and staff were attentive.

The shower is wide open to the bathroom, causing water to go everywhere. There were limited towels, so we really did not shower much, which was unacceptable given the heat. The pool is small with limited seating, and there is no bar. The view from rooms and even pool area is truly limited. We had a street facing room (get a mountain view) as the neighbors' chickens started crowing about 2:00 am every day. The unit across the street had a small dog that barked all day long.

Great hotel in the heart of cat ba town. We had two joining rooms as travelling as a family. The rooms were huge and clean and the staff amazing providing endless advice and assistance to do tours and hire scooters. Also yummy breakfast options in the morning.

Unfortunately there is a lot of construction taking place in Cat ba town so every accommodation is impacted by noise. Fortunately Wonder Hotel wasn’t as bad as the other hotels , but there was nose nonetheless

Was given an option of 2 rooms, both were decent sized and clean. Breakfast was good with a few options every day. Staff were all friendly and happy to help

There is a lot of work going on round the hotel so when relaxing by the pool you can hear it all round. It is within walking distance of the Main Street but is set back from the main roads

Because this is a new hotel, there aren't many reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We initially booked only two nights and then extended for another two. The room is exactly as shown in the images. Everything was very clean. The hotel is spotless throughout. The room also features a large smart television. The bed is comfortable, and we had a peaceful night's sleep. The location was ideal for us because we didn't want to be in the middle of everything. However, you can walk there in 3 minutes. The greatest restaurants are in close proximity to the hotel. The cost is justified! I checked out all of the hotels in Cat Ba and this is by far the nicest. They also have a lovely pool on the top, with a nice terrace to chill. They offering a buffet breakfast. Everything is delectable. The hotel staff is kind and helpful (also speak good english) After all, I highly recommended to choose this hotel. We are really demanding, but loved our stay so much.

Would be nice to have some sun umbrella in the rooftop area.

Fitness centre was abysmal - someone was clearly living in it!? Shoes stacked up at the window, toothbrushes in the bathroom, a couch was in there even though the room was so cramped already! Treadmills did not feel safe to use Rooftop pool was small

This was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our 6 week trip in South East Asia. Excellent facilities (air-conditioned gym, rooftop pool, Netflix on the TV). Brand new hotel so everything is clean and new! Great location - 10 minute walk to the sea and right beside tasty restaurants. Friendly and accomdating staff especially Dong on reception. Dong was extremely helpful and kind to us. Dong was the nicest guy we met in Vietnam. We extended our trip for two more nights because we enjoyed the hotel so much. I would definitely come back to stay here.

Great location if you're staying in town as it's back from the front and all the construction. Looks like a new hotel, lovely facilities and super friendly staff. They also booked us a great taxi tour of Cat Ba's caves and national park. Breakfast was great (eggs & bacon station and other bits).

This hotel was perfect, good location, friendliest staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, hot showers, breakfast was amazing, comfy beds, good A/C and the staff even decorated the room for us since it was our honeymoon. Would 100% recommend!

Staff were absolutely amazing and helpful. They assisted with booking tours and the included breakfast was delicious. The Wonder hotel is away from the construction happening on the bay. The rooms are clean and well presented, beds were comfortable.

No bottled water in the room.

The staff were amazing, they helped us a lot during our short stay. The location was good with just a short walk down the hill.

Whilst the hotel felt clean, there were some small stains in the room. We liked the fact the hotel offered reusable water containers instead of plastic bottles, however they were a little dirty around the seals.
