This hotel was located next to a mini harbour. A short pleasant walk to shops and restaurants.

The hotel could have been cleaner. We had an outlet pipe leaking in the bathroom which Victor fixed the first night. The bathroom needed a good scrub. There were only 2 very thin and small towels, no hand towel or floor mat. It got a bit slippery on the tiles. The beds had a clean bottom sheet. The cover was a light quilted blanket - had it been washed after the last occupants? Not sure. I slept under my sarong. Victor was lovely. His food was delicious. This location is very close to Ben Bei where the boats leave to visit Lan Ha and Halong Bay. We did a night cruise and kayak to see luminescence which was next level awesome booked by Sea Balcony. Loved it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and amenities. The owner, who speaks fluent English, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to assist me in organizing a fantastic excursion, ensuring I had a memorable experience. The rooms were impeccably clean, with fresh towels provided daily, reflecting the hotel's commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. The meals served were delicious, offering a delightful culinary experience that I looked forward to each day. Considering the outstanding service, comfortable accommodations, and quality dining, I found the value for money to be excellent. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a welcoming and enjoyable stay.

The owner was exceptionally helpful and very friendly. The view from the balcony is as in the pictures. Furthermore, he was very helpful in booking tours and motorbikes. The breakfast could be a bit more plentiful, but it is worth the price/performance ratio. In any case, the hotel is recommended

Unfortunately, the whole bay is now being filled in and a hotel complex is being built out of obvious greed for profit. Fact: the bay in front of the harbor promenade no longer exists.

The hosts, Victor and his family, are just amazing. So friendly and helpful for anything: wonderful service for breakfast; I booked the night kayaking tour to see the glowing plankton and it was so cool; I rented a motorbike and Victor showed me how to use it and where to refill the tank; I gave them the laundry and it came back clean and timely. The location is great, on the main street in Cat Ba Town, a little walk to the beaches. My room was spacious and cosy.

We had a lovely stay with Victor and his family We booked 3 sea view rooms with balconies which overlooked the beautiful Bay The beds and pillows were really comfortable, the air conditioner along with two fans kept us lovely and cool in the very spacious rooms Big bathroom with good shower and plenty of toiletries Also had smoke alarms and sprinkler system which we didn't find in other properties Decent choice for Breakfast including lovely pancakes and fruit from their garden Spotlessly clean

Incredible value, good location, nice rooms, elevator. Very very nice host who was pleasant and helped with all issues. He booked 2 tours for me and my bus transport to the next town. The bed was too hard for my tastes so they provided a very thick blanket which worked out ok. I didn't like the soup for breakfast as it was too salty so he provided a different meal with no extra charge. One of the best hosts I have had in my extensive travels. It was nice to have an onsite restaurant with my meal delivered to my room when I didn't want to leave the hotel and deal with noise and cigarette smoke. I thought food price was reasonable.

I booked the sea view room which had a nice view. But the street noise was irritating so I moved to a room away from the street. One night someone in the hotel talking loudly kept me awake until after midnight. Housekeeping needs improvement. They could clean better and one day the cleaner started to enter my room without knocking.

Lovely location across from the water. Within walking distance of awesome restaurants. The room had a awesome balcony with views. The bed was really comfy. The bathroom was clean. The owner and his family were really kind and helpful. There was some construction happening during our stay. We were told this at check in. It started pretty early which wasn't ideal, but we were out all day anyway so it wasn't a great problem. The free breakfast was perfect to start the day. They also have a restaurant for other meals, which was also pretty good. We hired motorbikes from here too. All round, it is a great place to stay. Definitely recommend.

Very nice family that owns the hotel. A nice breakfast, a nice room, and walking distance to all of the town’s restaurants, coffee shops, beaches, etc. (the beaches, which are somewhat small, may be a bit far to walk to for some people, but I like the exercise!). I recommend staying here, I was comfortable, and felt at home. 😊

This hotel was exceptional, we visited after the major Thypoon. The staff were such beautiful people. I highly recommend this hotel .its only a 15min walk to beach 1 . I could not believe how helpful the manager was after they had this terrible Thypoon which destroyed a lot of this island. I would love to return to this hotel in the future

The owner and his family are really amazing, they invited us to their Lunar New Year table, and also we got traditional lucky money :) The recommended one day boat trip was also stunning. (Swimsuit, and a pair of trausers for changing is strongly recommmended)

Ask them, to check the hot water tank is it open (I had to finish the the shower with cold water first two night)
