Great location, just out of the busy centre - away from the construction on the beach and with good views over the lake and hills. Comfortable clean room. On reception Nam is very helpful with booking tours, travel and local advice. We booked a boat tour of Lan Ha Bay that he recommended and it was one of the best days so far on our 6 month tour of Asia. Highly recommend!! Scooter available to hire too which we did.

All the previous reviews were right! , this hotel is amazing, we got a free upgrade to a room with lake view and is so peaceful and beautiful!, the staff helped us book day cruise and turn out so fantastic, room was nice and clean, the bed is so comfortable and the hot water work great compare to other place on this island that we stayed before coming here. Highly recommend this place.

If you don't want to hear a lot of noise due to the big construction area by the center, then this would be your perfect place to stay

We booked an overnight cruise at this hotel, turn out super amazing! , they provide us with the most honest advice and offer us a super good price compared to other places. They also help us book for the next transportation and accommodation as well. I felt so amazing with they arranged everything for us. And most highlight of the place is the staff here offer us a free upgrade to a room with a view of the lake! so amazing

Nam at the front desk is so helpful in arranging transport and helping make plans. He arranged for our transport to and from Cat Ba and helped with booking a cruise and motorbike taxi for the national park. His help made everything so easy and convenient for us! Very clean rooms. Appreciated the breakfast. We liked that it was at the more quiet part of town.

Hotel was excellent, clean and comfortable like the review said. The Receptionguy Nam was very friendly and helpful. He helped us to find good trips and restaurants. The trip, which he offered was much cheaper than other trips also very good one. Also he booked for us bus to Ninh Binh. I recommend this hotel happily to others. Thank you Nam for wonderful experience and days in Cat Ba.

This is one of the easiest 10s I've ever given on Booking.com! We loved everything. Beautiful rooms, amazing location, and the staff - in particular Nam - were so immensely helpful and wonderful. Nam helped us book everything here, and had advice on travel all throughout Vietnam. If you are staying in Cat Ba, this is the place to be!

Everything was great!

The hotel is great. The room is spacious, clean. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is big. The breakfast is good and you can order several dishes. Nam, the host, is super nice and very helpful. He can help you with activities, for example booking the Ha Giang loop. Go there with your eyes closed.

The location of the hotel was right by the old fising port so we had one of the best views currently available at Cat Ba.

This is not a reflection on the hotel. Unfortunately the scale and enormity of construction work currently under way at Cat Ba really impacted our stay.

We were very pleased with the staff at this hotel, although staying for one night they always made sure we were comfortable. And also helped book a cruise for an overnight cruise on the bay at a very good price compared to other places. Although the bed seemed a bit hard, I slept very well, the soundproofing was very good.
