Orson hotel is the most beautifully located hotel you could think of. It's the only hotel in a beautiful bay, with its own beach. It also has a great infinity pool with sun beds always available. We had booked a Deluxe Suite for panoramic sea and jungle views and it was worth it. The room was spacious with a large balcony, direct sea view. Its has had some handy amenities like good TV, kettle, bathrobes, toiletries, coffee and tea etc. The room was made everyday at request. The breakfast was tasty and versatile with fresh fruits, eggs made to order plus large selection of asian foods. The hotel rents scooters cheaply.

The hotel public premises could be kept a bit better.

The location of the hotel (it’s a 15-minute motorbike ride from the center) is surrounded by nature, very calm and relaxing. The staff was incredible, always available, and they even took us to and picked us up from the airport. They prepared takeaway breakfasts for us to bring on the plane and for a tour we did early in the morning. Nick was super attentive and welcoming, always ready to help us with any questions we had about the hotel or the island. We loved the pool and the room with a view. One day there was a storm, so we couldn’t leave the hotel, and we ended up eating at the restaurant, which has great pizzas, burgers, and pasta. I would definitely stay here again! We really loved it!

I recently stayed at Orson Hotel in Côn Đảo and had a truly relaxing experience. The resort is beautifully designed with a peaceful, natural setting that immediately puts you at ease. Everything felt calm, quiet, and perfect for a getaway from the busy world. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-kept, and I especially enjoyed the open views and fresh sea breeze. What I appreciated most was the peaceful atmosphere — it never felt crowded or noisy. If you’re looking for a quiet place to recharge and enjoy Côn Đảo’s natural beauty, I would definitely recommend Orson Hotel. Looking forward to coming back again someday!

The location of the property on its own private bay is incredible. If you want privacy and nature this place has it. The hotel also offers reasonably priced motorbikes to get you around. Great beaches are within 10 minute rides and the town is a very enjoyable 20 minute ride away. If you’re English speaking the incredible Nick will also help to make your stay a memorable one!

Not much to dislike except for lack of gym for me. The property owners could invest in snorkelling equipment that works well and stronger air conditioning in common dining areas.

The hotel is very comfortable and has everything you need to have a relaxing stay. It is not very close to the city but you can rent a motorbike for half a day (70k vnd) or a full day (150k vnd). Or take a taxi for 200kvnd one way. There is also a free shuttle in the morning and in the afternoon and free round trip airport transfer. The food for breakfast is quite good, there is a wide range of choices, for everyone. But what is really great is the effort the staff puts in to go the extra mile and make our stay as pleasant as possible. I really appreciated the human touch, it is very valuable. Thank you for making our stay very enjoyable for my whole family.

We loved our stay at the Orson! The pool was exceptional, and the private beach was also lovely. The restaurant was great, the staff were fantastic and very accommodating. The hotel is not within walking distance to anything, but the location is superb if you’re happy to rent a moped / take taxi’s into town / hang out by the pool all day! We rented mopeds from the hotel, it was very reasonably priced and great fun.

Our shower had no curtain, and the bathtub wasn’t effectively sealed at the wall, so pools of water would flood the bathroom every time we showered. Worth noting that the laundry service is shockingly expensive - this perhaps is common practice in some hotels, but the pricing was itemised, down to the socks! This would add up hugely if you had a whole load of laundry to do.

Con Dao is very, very beautiful. And the location of the Hotel is ideal if what you are looking for is tranquility. It is about 5 km from the only town on the island of Con Son. You will need a scooter to get around. But you will still need a scooter to get around the island, whatever hotel you choose for your stay. The bay in front of the hotel is very pretty, with its private beach. The small Bãi Nhát beach about 2 km east of the resort is also very beautiful: perhaps one of the most beautiful spots in the entire Con Dao. The Hotel has all the essential services, has beautiful rooms (we had chosen an Ocean View), and the quality of the services is OK for a Hotel of that category (considering the context: you are in Vietnam and you are on a small island ...). A fair amount of the staff speaks English and everyone is very kind and friendly

The quality and standard of the breakfast could perhaps be improved. Even the level of cleanliness is not exactly excellent (we cleaned the shower drain ourselves; the balcony is not part of the daily room cleaning protocol, so adjust accordingly...). In 3 days of our stay we were unable to obtain instructions for using the safe: in the end we gave up on using it.

It had everything i had hoped for. The facilities were up to the mark. The staff were helpful.

The bath tub didn't fill up with hot water at all that was the only complaint I had.

If you are looking for real Relax ( remote & quite area ) , its best choice for you... Huge room with huge balcony with direct view to the sea...Clean room & facility ... breakfast very good... receptionists & barman really helpful and cooperative. Check in & Check out fast & without problem. Many option for trips around Con Dao Island.. WiFi coverage & speed very good. Transfers from & to Airport ( cca 45 minutes ) without problems.

TV channels could be with more foreign options , food menu is available but many food are not available, so take note. Some of the facility around need more attention ( repair, clean up .. )

Great view to the sea from the hotel room, helpful staff, delicious foods, daily cleaning. The infinity pool is fantastic, the hotel was not overcrowded so we could relax.

There were a few constructional mistakes in the room: the water was not flowing towards the drain in the shower instead flow to the room. The window was not closing properly, the corrosion cause degradation in the door and deformed. Except the receptionists the staff didn't understand English language.
