The view of the bay from the 26th floor was excellent. Thanks for the generous upgrade to the room with balcony. Breakfast and service by the staff was good. The was sufficient choices of both western and local food. Excellent (unique) food presentation @ Afternoon Tea...but too many sweet items served!😉

The service at the check-in was initially disapponting as none of the front desk came forward to attend to me. They were more focused on their monitors. I had to raise my voice for their attention! (Didn't expect this from a 5* hotel). Generally I don't like to complain...please take this comment for improvement.

Where do I start? The hotel staff were brilliant as was the fantastic breakfast room ambiance and the very wide choices of excellent food. My Asian wife loved the Asian breakfast food and the choice of breakfast drinks including my now favorite, fresh Sour Sop juice . The view from our balcony was incredible. The infinity pool was very clean with a nice depth throughout (great for children and non swimmers). Oh, and another thing, there were not many (noisy) children while we were there. The lifts came very quickly to. I was pleasantly surprised at the very good exchange rate I was given from the reception for my Australian cash, Mint and the other concierge lady were incredibly nice and helpful as, it seems, everyone in Vietnam is. We will definitely come again to Vietnam and this hotel in Da nang. We fully recommend it.

The gym was a little under resourced. Just a little thing.

I had a wonderful stay at Wyndham Danang Golden Bay. The infinity pool is absolutely stunning with panoramic views of the city and bay — it's truly one of the best I've seen in Vietnam. We also enjoyed dining at F29, which offers a great atmosphere and delicious food, especially in the evening. One of the highlights was the complimentary afternoon tea — such a lovely touch that made our stay feel extra special. The staff were all very kind and helpful. Honestly, I don’t understand the negative reviews. Everything was clean, organized, and welcoming. If you’re looking to relax and enjoy great facilities with a touch of luxury, this is the place. I would definitely come back again!

I wish I could have stayed longer

First, I want to commend the staff. They were attentive, helpful, always cheerful, just a great example of of what customer service means. Manager made a great impression on me as he wanted to get to my one gripe before I left. Luxury hotel at a great price. Room was huge. So big I got tired walking from the bed to the bathroom, lol. Bed was very comfy, especially compared to most Asian beds which are usually very hard. Very good water pressure, a/c worked well, room equipped with water, coffee, robes, all toiletries, etc. Hotel is on the end of the bay. Which isolates it somewhat, meaning there is nothing to see in walking distance. But that is the main reason I chose it, I wanted to be away from the crowd. Made for a quiet, relaxed stay. It does offer a shuttle to town to get to tourist areas. Terrific views of the bay and the sunset. Infinity pool looked nice but I did not try it. Hotel had a casino, bar, restaurant, gift shop, and a nice coffee shop. I do not usually hang out in hotel lobbies but this hotel was very nice to just enjoy. Breakfast was extensive. Caters to the Asian tastes which I understand as most other guests were Asian, but there were some western foods too. Huge amount of choices overall. Food had descriptions, spaced out for ease of getting to it and what I did try, I found tasty. Hotel was a great find and a must stay.

Hotel is on the end of the bay. Which isolates it somewhat, meaning there is nothing to see in walking distance. Not a negative for me but some may not like it. Wifi was not good in my room. The tv connection was very poor. Could not even watch any type of streaming due to dropped connection or severe lagging. Laptop connection was a bit better so I just watched on that. Did not report it to staff as it was not a big deal overall. Do commend the manager who heard about this and sought me out before I left to apologize, even though I had not made any type of complaint, I just pointed it out at check out.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was much more beautiful and the service was impeccable. We were met by the manager Nguyen Ba Vu and his attitude and attention to detail was perfect. The rooms are beautiful and well cleaned. The gym is spacious and well equipped. The pool is especially impressive, the view is gorgeous, the sun reflects in the gold trim. Good breakfasts, afternoon tea. My wife was congratulated on her birthday with a gorgeous cake with fruits. It was impressive that in the evenings they open a cafe on the river bank, where visitors admire the sunset. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the beach and shopping centers. We travel a lot and this hotel is one of the best places we have been.

We were in a river facing room, the view was spectacular. Staff was very sweet and english speaking. The restaurant manager was kind enough to help with a take-away coffee from the buffet breakfast spread as our pickup for day trip had arrived. Room was spacious and clean. We also went for the spa, very relaxed and rejuvenating.

We needed some laundry bags to pack our used clothes, but we were told its chargeable. This was the first time any hotel had asked us to pay for laundry bags. The afternoon tea - nothing great about it, the seating was on the couch and we were uncomfortable but refused a set on the table as they said its being prepped for dinner guests. One can absolutely skip the afternoon tea service.

The staff were another standout—warm, attentive, and always eager to help, whether arranging tours or recommending local eats. Dining options were diverse, from the lavish international buffet at Golden Delight to expertly crafted cocktails at Sky36, one of Asia’s highest rooftop bars. The spa and fitness center also deserve a shoutout for perfecting relaxation and wellness. While the location is slightly away from the main beach, the hotel’s free shuttle service makes exploring Da Nang hassle-free. If you’re seeking a blend of opulence, Instagram-worthy moments, and a touch of magic, Wyndham Danang Golden Bay delivers. That infinity pool alone is worth the stay—don’t miss it!

My only regret? Discovering Wyndham Danang Golden Bay too late! That infinity pool and golden-hour magic should’ve been on my bucket list years ago. Still, better late than never—it was worth every moment

Will be back again. The staff, in every department were amazing and helpful. The location is great, as it is easy to get around Da Nang, and it is quieter location. The Sky Bar and Restaurant was an amazing experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. The Rooftop swimming pool… is just so wow 😃 This is why I ignore bad reviews, as these tend to be grumpy people with no sense of life or laughter or fun

The staff was beyond accommodating . The breakfast choice was fabulous. View from the infinity pool was great Golden bay was indeed a golden view for sunrise and sunset beach access and airport trip were by shuttle

The location was away from the main strip which may be a blessing but it does require a shuttle bus to the beach. If young folks want a more lively experience of downtown then chose these other locations

The hotel is clean and comfortable, they are doing a little renovation so it was a little noisy. But the food is absolutely amazing. The staff can't do enough for you and the views from the 29th floor where the pool and restaurant are is amazing.

The area is terrible. And you can't walk anywhere. The hotel is on the outskirts of the town, so the only way you can go anywhere is by car. It's a little dated, but by the noises, they are renovating.
