Large-sized Rooms. Clean. Simon, the guest relations manager, was extremely attentive and friendly. We felt really taken care of with him, and he genuinely wanted us to feel at home at FLC

The Buffet - We had the buffet dinner on the 3rd floor of the hotel. We were left disappointed as it did not meet our expectations, as the meat was not properly cooked (Overdone on the lamb, chicken, and beef, and the seafood wasn’t handled correctly as well). I was assured that the hotel is making active improvements in this area, so I hope to give FLC another chance if I visit the area in future.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent breakfast choices. Beautiful pool. The trips organiser An was amazing. He looked after us very well to ensure we booked the correct trips, and arranged our transport for us ensuring all our needs were catered for. Communication was excellent with An. He kept us up to date with any bookings or travel.

Air conditioning not working in the room. Was moved to another room but did not have the balcony we booked so was moved again to another room. The hotel is beautiful, however some of the staff appeared to be very fed up. The house lacked atmosphere.

Our stay was incredible. We had a bay view suite with incredible views across Ha Long. The room was beautiful, very spacious and had every amenity. We also enjoyed the spa and pools. Breakfast each day was very good too. Above all, the staff were exceptional. They were so kind, and did everything they possibly could to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable and celebratory. We had a fault with our shower which was fixed straight away. They also helped us make a reservation for lunch elsewhere in Ha Long. Remembered us and greeted us like old friends every time. It was a fantastic stay over Christmas and we loved it.

During the quiet season only one restaurant was open, and we recommended they change to serving lunch and dinner to where breakfast is also - better view and ambience.

Upon arrival the staff were very helpful and incredibly friendly. They decorated our room for us for our honeymoon, which looked beautiful. Our room was massive, and the bed was very comfortable. Pool was a great size, lots of variety for breakfast.

Around the indoor swimming pool was a bit run down, which was a shame as it’s lovely and big. Needed to get a taxi to places as you’re a little further out.

Clean, big room, facilities and breakfast were good!

Most staff did not have little to no English (booking.com says all staff have English and Vietnamese). We had to use google translate everyday. Also the minimart was closed before the allocated time and I asked reception and they just said oh it’s closed, and it was not closing time. They just didn’t want to open it for us. It was rude.

Fabulous setting looking out over Halong & Halong Bay. Enormous suite & quite reasonable, we chose a Bay view but Golf view was also impressive. Breakfast was one of the biggest buffet selections we'd ever seen in our lives & great omelets. Great pool & golf available at Club just behind hotel.

Great views! Comfortable bed.

Housekeeper stole our wine opener. We were charged for water even though there was nothing listed on the mini bar price list for water. Plus, we paid for an extra day that we didn’t use and they would not deduct the charges for the water.

Located on top of the hill with nice views. the outside of the hotels surrounded by colourful flowers and big swimming pool .inside the hotel . Very clean and tidy .good staff. good breakfast .rooms cleaning every day.

Lovely bay view suit with comfortable beds and nice hot showers. Beautiful pool and views and yummy and varied breakfast. It really was nice but massive and emptyish (we considered this a plus!).

Many of the hotel restaurants are shut which is understandable as China are still in covid recovery which is having a knock on effect on the entire Halong area.

The view was fantastic, facility was excellent

Attitude of some staffs were unacceptable. Me and my friends look younger than actual age so some receptionists gave us a disdainful look. But some staffs were so nice and they greeted us joyfully.
