There is so much to like about the Diamond Luxury Hotel. First of all, the staff was amazing. Hieu, after just one call, was able to book our transportation to and from Hanoi and our day cruise on Ha Long Bay and he did it perfectly. We even asked to change around some of our activities after booking and it was no problem at all. In addition, the value for the money of this place is incredible as the rooms were modern and clean, and the views from the 9th floor Bar and Restaurant were simply amazing. I would highly recommend this establishment.

We liked almost everything about this hotel. The location near the sea of Karst rocks and a nearby Winmart supermarket.The room was spacious, the beds and pillows comfortable and the bathroom well designed with a powerful shower. Air conditioner very quiet and no noise from outside. The view from our room on the 7th floor across the bay was amazing. The receptionists Vg and Linh were very helpful and friendly and their English was good.All round we had a great stay here and will certainly stay here again upon our return to Halong.

We would have given this hotel a 10 if it had provided a few breakfast options other than the one dish offered.However, it was not a problem for us as we found other places to eat nearby.Dont let this put you off this really is wonderful place in so many ways.

This hotel is fantastic! There is not a lot to do in Halong wherever you stay except to cruise. This hotel is a short cab drive from the cruise harbour which is hectic. The hotel has nice views, lovely rooms and the staff are very obliging. Facing the ocean to your left up the smaller sid street where the big Post building is, are dozens of local eateries. Opposite the hotel is a nice restaurant. About 100 metres in front of the hotel on the beach is a huge Vincom mall with a great supermarket, restaurants etc. highland coffee shop in front of it facing the beach. Very close by on the side is a huge local market that sells everything you may need! We booked our Halong Day cruise with Linh and it was so organised. Picked up at the door, dropped off and met by the cruise agent and taken to our day cruise boat and then dropped back to the door. Wonderful service. Vy has organised a limo bus to Ninh Binh tomorrow. Door to door service and cheap! Clean, well situated - borderline empty during my stay so I got the roof top bar to myself every night, view was amazing. Felt like the private rooftop bar was just for me🤣. Rooms were functional and clean. The highlight was the staff! The bar stuff were lovely but the receptionist, linh was the star. He was outstanding, helped me get transfers, book tours, offered local food recommendations was overall a lovely person!! 10/10 for the staff.

Room was a bit tired, but for the price nothing to complain about. Would stay again.

Excellent location, Wi-Fi worked great, AC was fantastic and room was very comfortable. The low cost was was really a bonus point considering the quality of this hotel. Very close to the biggest mall of the city and several restaurants and amenities around.

The skybar and pool bar (snooker) weren't open properly during our stay. Staff greeting guests at the door weren't the friendliest. They didn't even help us with our luggage.

Stylish, new contemporary, rooms high standard and very comfortable bedding, AC extra, soundproof, quiet. Staff very helpful Win mart (supermarkets) all nearby. Vic con centre 5 minute walk away. Tours offered. Reception staff very helpful, Linh was very friendly! Rooftop views on the bar were beautiful, every day I enjoyed waking up to the scenic views. Incredible view of Ha Long Bay everyday☺️☺️

Expensive area of Ha Long Bay. No places to eat locally, apart from Pizza Hut. I knew this when I booked but this might be worth noting.

Cute rooms, beds were okay, amazing view, good wifi. Laundry service was 70 000 per kilo, scooter rent 200 000 per day. Great location next to a beautiful park and big shopping centre with a large supermarket. Many good restaurants are just a walk away. Towels are changed every day and two tiny bottles of water, instant coffee and tea are provided every day. You can refill your water bottle at the reception.

The 9th floor rooftop bar is not open and there is no designated area for just relaxing. There can be some noise during the night from the traffic or the nearby rooms, especially sewage sounds. The floors and surfaces were not clean so I cleaned them myself. The reception smells like mould.

We stay for three nights Delux King Room which has Spectacular view of islands and city. Staffs were prompt and friendly, in particular, Linh helped us in sorting out a daily cruise that we very much enjoyed. Useful amenities, convenience of the locale, and execellent value for this King Suit

The shower hot water in was too cold in the morning. In the evening was fine. The breakfast could be improved as it was none or very limited but the problem didn't affect us there were plenty choices of delicious locale foods minutes away waking.

This place is on the doorstep of where you need to start your Ha Long Bay experience. I arrived at night and couldn't believe the views, especially in the morning after waking up and making my way to the roof top. The hotel reception staff are unbelievably friendly and fluent in English. There are many places to eat close by, very close to Vincom Plaza and a park which is alive and buzzing with activity. They also do a very good coffee on the roof top.

That I didn't get more time to spend here

After several days in the Halong Bay area I realised that the hotel was located in the best part of town ok a bit further from the port and amusement parks but actually in a nicer neighbourhood and only minutes walk from the water front and extensive shopping facilities both modern & old.A shout out to Vy on Reception who was particularly kind & helpful!

The TV in my room didn't work throughout my 5 night stay.I reported it twice but the issue remained unresolved which I thought was not up to standard for an established hotel.But otherwise I was very satisfied and would stay at the hotel again.
