Modern room with comfortable bed, great sea view, nice SPA facilities

Constructions are noisy and very close to the pool areas. Even though stated, there is no private beach.

We had a lovely relaxing stay here. The bedroom is spacious, there is a large pool with sun loungers, and easy access to the sea with comfortable covered couches to sit on afterwards and enjoy the view. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and they are happy to use Google Translate, which made communicating very smooth and easy. I liked that there were different coloured towels for the room, pool, and sea, as we were swimming multiple times a day. There is a security guard on the entrances to stop non guests entering, which meant it was very quiet and peaceful. It was a small walk into the town, or you could catch a buggy. There are plenty of food choices in the town as well as the hotel.

We had an ocean view room which had pleasant views down over the hotels two pools and further on to the ocean itself which all in all was quite pleasant. The facilities such as the pools and restaurant were well equipped and great to use. I was pleasantly surprised at the value for money prices on the menu too (get the club sandwich). The walk down the hill into the Cat Ba town was gentle and short so exploring the village was not difficult at plus for a small cost (10k VND) there are electric carts that can take you to and from the hotel if need be. This gave the hotel a nice quiet feeling and a buffer from being directly in town. Staff were friendly and helpful at every step including at the restaurant and with advice and assistance for boat tour bookings to Lan Ha Bay. I recommend May Legend hotel

Can't fault the hotel.

This has become our regular hotel for visits to Cat Ba. From the friendly staff to the fabulous facilities, it scores a 10 every visit. The pools, onsen, and gym are great additions. The breakfasts are varied and always tasty. The restaurant has a mix of Asian and Western food.

Grounds were wonderful I know they had serious damage with the recent typhoon but the staff had done well in making the grounds as good as they could be. Room petty good huge bed and quiet

Quilt not big enough for the bed we kept fighting fir it all night! A little bit of a hill buit not a big deal really. Breakfast OK would have liked more fruit

I like the swim pool has huge slide and coach, it's really comfortable in the Villa. The beach just besides the swim pool and villa, very convenient to play in the sea.

The breakfast service a bit not enough resources, some dishes can't delivery on time, sometimes need waiting around 10-15min to wait, and the chair and table not strong enough and small a bit.

A very good resort, a little distance from city centre but very walkable. Good, helpful staff but need a google translator. Occupancy was low during our stay but the resort, especially the spa is very good standard

Great location and service. Despite the ongoing constructions, we still had convenient access to the beach. Free sauna for all guests and its extended opening hours let you enjoy it even late after a tour. We didn’t use the pools but they were clean.

The staff is great and accommodating. We found that the restaurant menu is excellent for dinner, so we didn't need to go outside for good food. The rooms are nice and spacious.

The hotel still has construction going on around the pool so we had to walk around and be careful not to trip and fall.

We had a fantastic stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent as was the food. It's a beautiful resort, extremely well kept and peaceful. We would go back in the future.
