Location and facilities 👍

Staff are nice except one night shift guy ask me to deal with the cockroach in my kid’s room when I inform him about that 🙂

After a nightmare start at a different hotel, we were told to come to Emerald Central. We arrived and they told us to book via booking.com as it’s cheaper. The room was basic but nice and very clean, the balcony was HUGE and it’s a short walking distance to amazing restaurants, day spas (and there is also one in the hotel) and Thanh Dinh Market. The staff gave us a little map and drew where we needed to go, were helpful with our bags and very accommodating.

Set breakfast options. My partner is allergic to seafood and ordered the pork dim sims for breakfast, but was given seafood dim sims - which was quickly rectified. He was too scared to eat them, though, as they still had a seafood smell. My breakfast, however, was delicious!

I loved our stay at Emerald Central. Even when we had a missunderstanding with the room facilities, the manager Danny was quick to resolve it and give us alternatives and solutions. Truly professional and he made a "normal" stay feel like a personalised and wonderful experience. There is a spa on site, which is magical and affordable. The rooms are clean and the location is quite central.

The rooms need soundproofing. As they are connected to turn into a bigger room, this means you can hear everything going on with your neighbours. I was woken up every morning of my stay at 6:30am by my early riser neighbours. It is a shame otherwise id consider this the best hotel we stayed at during our stay in Vietnam.

- I stayed in Emerald as it was 5mins walk from my friend’s place. However, the place is central and convenient, with many stores and street food nearby. It is also very convenient to get to the airport (15-20mins by car) - the studio room we stayed in was spacious for my toddler and me, with space for him to run around - the room was comfortable and very clean, and the staff were really nice and helpful

- although there are cooking / kitchen facilities in my room, there was no pot and pans nor tableware nor cutlery. There were some standard cups, glasses and kettles. The microwave was the only extra. if you’d like to make anything else, you’d need to ask. - the dining chairs can be upgraded to make it more comfortable for longer sitting

great location, clean and peaceful rooms with good showers and comfy beds. the staff here were incredible, thank you so much to Danny for a warm welcome and sharing all your local knowledge with us! sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye in person! also definitely check out the spa! I had a very bad neck/ shoulder and got a ANMA massage. the next day I was sore but the day after that I woke up and was completely pain free! Anh was a magic worker and Tina on reception was so helpful and lovely. Hope we get to visit again!

We stayed in the penthouse. The space was adequate, though quite basic. Like that the washer was at the same level just outside the room.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable — I woke up with some aches. The kitchenette was extremely basic, with no utensils provided, just a few cups. One of the rooms had a balcony door that couldn’t be locked, which was concerning since it meant anyone could potentially access the room. We had to get creative to secure it ourselves.

Reception manager was excellent and went out his way to answer any questions I had, am here for the poker event and have already booked my room for an additional 1 week as very happy with location and hotel

I have a superior room with cooking facilities but no cutlery or dishes to cook with, I understand there policy is if you are staying 28 days + in room this is catered for but ok for me as only use microwave so bought some paper plates so could heat up the basics, I am sure if I requested the basics the hotel would supply but personally I do not require.

Pros: -Location is amazing -Tentative Staff -Clean and spacious -Security always alert and very kind -Super comfy bed Cons: -Lots of street noise -Gym is sad. Only consisted of 4 machines. Its more of a cardio room. -Elevator is HOT -My room smelt like cigarettes went I first got in but as soon as I turned on the AC it went away. Nothing else in the room smelt.

Really nice room. Very comfortable with plenty of space. Bathrooms were lovely. Friendly staff. Location was great for us. Lots of local places to eat very close by. 3 supermarkets very close by. An easy walk to get in to district 1, but it is about 2-3km away, but that was fine for us.

Could hear a bit of street noise even on the 8th floor, but it did not bother us at all.

Good-sized room and a comfortable bed. The room was clean.

The room had a connecting door to the room next door. There was no soundproofing at all. I could hear every sound and all conversation from the neighbouring room. There is no privacy for guests. I had to wear earplugs throughout my stay. This spoiled an otherwise pleasant stay.
