We love this place because of it’s hidden away from the loud busy city streets. After a long day touring the city and the Mekong Delta we wanna go back to a more quiet place so we can rest and this is the perfect place. You couldn’t ask for more - staff here is super friendly and definitely deserves a 5 star rating. Housekeeping and bellboy definitely deserve big tips. 👍

It was a lovey place with a good view from our apartment. Location - I was pretty much frustrated with all the reviews saying there is nothing around. In fact, location was lovely for us. Yes, no bar streets like in the city center and lovely ladies inviting for massage. But you get local prices, good quality and feeling local in HCMC, and no feeling as you get special touristic prices. Fiirst, there is a good public transportation available, 15-20 minutes by bus or car to Saigon mall or Palace of Independence, bikes are even faster. There are MANY good places to eat around, from Korean BBQ to nice Vietnamese dishes with really nice prices, nice spa nearby. Third, there is also a market place nearby KunKin, where you can buy what locals buy. In general, for sure, there are some disadvantages, but measuring price quality ratio, the place we have stayed was good.

Yes, the rooms are really very small, yes almost transparent glass in the toilet is another thing, especially, if you are traveling with someone else. Might be not the best soundproofing, but we were asked by the management to keep quiet hours after 10 pm, so almost all the guests followed it. I was uncomfortable of using and moving some equipment in the room since it was not well located (again some questions to design). Indeed, that is pretty much everything.

A quiet location, close to the main road. Taxis can take you directly to the building entrance. The staff is friendly and has been very helpful to us. We were able to visit nearby places very easily. It’s a good hotel in the area, potentially better than some hotels in the city center, but at a more affordable price. I will recommend it to friends if they need to visit Ho Chi Minh City." Lovely ambience and fittings throughout, very sleek and well thought out design of the room. It was a loft style apartment, with enough space for 2 people to comfortably stay. Great neighbourhood in Binh Thanh, everything you might need on your doorstep and easy access to downtown via taxi or Grab. Staff very friendly and happy to accommodate requests. Loved it so much we ended up staying for almost 3 weeks.

No couch/sofa in the living area if that is a thing you like. Just a day bed for 1 person but didn’t phase us too much.

The duplex was spacious for my family of 2 adults 1 toddler. Many shelves available to put our belongings hence it will not feel squeezy or cluttered. Aircon managed to cool the room very well. 3min walk to a convenience store and city centre easily accessible via ride-hailing apps. Quiet at night. Staff were very nice and friendly.

Lack of cutlery and utensils (only 2 glasses & 2 teaspoons) so no cooking could be done in the apartment.

Great looking room and very clean. Staff was great and very helpful. No problem helping you with taxi to the airport. Probably the best soundproofing we had in a hotel for our whole Vietnam trip.

It was a bit strange how peculiar the place was with breaking stuff in the room. Had a whole list of costs for what the customer should pay if they break something, sort of had you walking on eggshells around the room which you had already paid a significant amount for.

Nice and clean place. Had a duplex room with a nice view (6th floor) and little balcony. Lower floors are a little bit darker.

Nothing to complain about the hotel as such. Location is slightly remote to the city center (District 1). Nevertheless, it was very easy to get there by cab or motor taxi.

No possibility of cooking even In rooms or apartments with kitchen. Not even a spoon! There is no restaurant or bar in the building

The Kunkin Apartment is in a prime locations as you are only moments away from the main road with access to all the restaurants and stores. The apartment itself is very well maintained but slightly tight if you are a tall person. The staff were all lovely and helpful.

Rooms are comfortable and equipped with microwaves. The location was quiet, it is an approximate 12 minute drive to District 1 where majority of the main attractions in Ho Chi Minh are, however, Grab is efficient and affordable so this wasn't an issue. The hotel stored our luggage for a few hours after check-out.

There are no cups provided for tea but only small glasses.
