The breakfast was awesome, the best ommelette I've had in a long time, with hot crispy buns, fresh fruit juices, crepes for desert, etc. The staff are very polite and friendly and keep the grounds immaculate. Our rooms were modernly furnished and were functional, we enjoyed the pool access. The two pools are clean and very functional, one is great for swimming laps, and the other has a jacuzzi. The location is convenient, with kite surfing schools, restaurants, shopping and clubs nearby.

The beach in front of the hotel is public, and therefore not cleaned by the hotel. As such, there isn't much the hotel management can do about it, but the occasional plastic bags in the water and various trash on the beach made it less inviting so I opted for the swimming pool most of the time.

1. Beautiful and Quiet Environment: The resort feels very private, and guests don’t see or disturb each other. It’s almost as if you have the entire place to yourself. 2. Unique Accommodations: Each room or bungalow has its charm—whether it’s a sea view, proximity to one of the two swimming pools, or a hammock in the garden. 3. Helpful Staff: The staff is wonderful, always ready to assist with motorbike rentals, taxis, and transfers. Their service adds to the overall positive experience. 4. Beach Access: There’s a small, clean beach on the property, perfect for relaxing. While the resort's beach can disappear during high tide due to its narrowness, you can easily walk to larger beaches nearby. In Vietnam, beaches are communal and within walking distance, so you can explore different ones daily. 5. Comfortable Rooms: The rooms are thoughtfully designed with comfortable beds, a good shower with hot water, and a private terrace with sunbeds and outdoor furniture for chilling. 6. Peaceful Swimming Pools: The two pools are well-maintained, never crowded, and more than sufficient for the limited number of guests (there are likely fewer than 20 rooms in total). 7. Breakfast: Breakfast is generous, with plenty of variety to suit all tastes, even if it leans toward Vietnamese style. It’s never overcrowded, so mornings are always calm and pleasant.

The small recommendations above are just minor details to perfect an already great experience: 1) Full-Length Mirror: Adding a long mirror in the rooms would be a great touch, especially for female guests. 2) Upgrade Hair Dryer. This seems to be a common issue in Vietnamese hotels, but it would be nice to have a more powerful and functional option. 3) Sockets: The electrical sockets could be updated to better accommodate European plugs. It wasn’t a major issue, but an upgrade would enhance convenience.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Sunsea Hotel. It’s a charming, intimate resort featuring two stunning pools. The on-site restaurant offers a delicious à la carte breakfast included in the room rate, along with a diverse menu for lunch and dinner. The seafront pool provides beautiful views of the ocean. Our room, with a lovely outdoor seating area, overlooked the second pool near the entrance. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the hotel is impeccably maintained. The resort is located in a fantastic part of town, surrounded by a variety of restaurants, shops, and spas. We highly recommend Sunsea Resort!

It was just perfect days of fool relaxation. 2 swimming pool areas, one on the close area, second one just in front of the sea. Very beautiful, cozy, boutique hotel with friendly service. If you want quite vacation it will be perfect stay. Out of the hotel you will find different restaurants, bars, mini golf club, life music. During days you can swim, enjoy sea and sun.

This is my fourth visit. i really like the hotel and its helpful friendly team. Lovely pool. Will definitely come back again and always recommend it to friends

Every time we come, there is always some kind of renovation going on at the hotel, a bit noisy. Also this time they only gave one shampoo and shower gel for two people, looked a bit cheap for such a great place

The inclusive breakfast was exceptionally good value, there was so much food. The staff were brilliant and really friendly. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing.

The beach was not very accessible and the beach in the surrounding area isn’t clean. The food at the hotel was ok and expensive; we had better and cheaper food in restaurants elsewhere.

Quiet, super clean, beautiful, with attentive and friendly staff.

It’s not about the property but the beach has receded over the past few years which means it’s a short walk out of the property to actually be on the beach. My partner and I had a bottle of champagne and were told off by the staff for having it at the beach area deckchairs.

Luxury rooms, delicious food, fantastic staff and top class swimming pool. 1 minute walk from King of Sandwich, an eatery well worth trying.

renovation work going on inside the resort over Xmas waitress offered taxi service to HCMC - didn’t sound like an official hotel offer. More like a side business.

On my third visit, the beach was damaged a lot when I came last year, but this year, it was clean by building a shaft. It is a resort where I want to come and rest often because of the beautiful beach.
