We had another incredible stay at Banyan Tree Lang Co, which is our favourite hotel in Vietnam and one of the best hotels we have been to. Ms Dao, the executive assistant manager, is the heart and soul of the hotel. She is incredibly nice and caring and such a great person and manager! We love her. Our villa host Hao was also top notch in all areas. The service is truly impeccable and very personal. The beach pool villa is very nice, with jacuzzi and very close to the beach. The breakfast is our favourite, one of the best in the world!! Our baby daughter also very much enjoyed the stay as everyone was caring so much about her. We will definitely repeat.

The only area for improvement in our view are the bicycles provided by the hotel, as they are rather old and should be replaced by newer ones.

From the moment we arrived at Banyan Tree Lăng Cô, we were met with the warmest hospitality and a level of service that truly went above and beyond. Every single member of the team we encountered was friendly, thoughtful, and genuinely committed to making our stay as memorable and special as possible. One of the highlights was having a dedicated villa liaison—a unique and incredibly helpful touch. Phung, our liaison, was exceptional. She ensured our villa was always perfect, helped us book restaurants and spa treatments, and made everything seamless. She even surprised us with a beautiful honeymoon setup in our villa on our first night, which was so thoughtful and touching. Phung truly made our stay unforgettable. Another standout was Thien at the bar, whose mixology skills are top-tier. His Vietnam geography cocktail series is a must-try—each drink takes you on a sensory journey through the different regions of Vietnam. Our favorite was the “Hello Vietnam”, the cocktail of the month. We made it a ritual to see Thien each day during happy hour and sample something new. His creativity and passion for his craft were a real highlight of our stay. The resort also offers 3 onsite restaurants: Saffron, water Court, and Azura. While we didn’t dine at Saffron, we loved the other two. Water Court quickly became our favorite for its authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine, and we found ourselves returning there the most. Azura, offering Mediterranean food, was also excellent. We also enjoyed 2 massages at the spa, which were divine. The spa menu is extensive, and each treatment is delivered with the same care and excellence we experienced throughout the resort. All in all, our time at Banyan Tree Lăng Cô was nothing short of amazing. We leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and incredibly grateful to have celebrated our honeymoon in such a beautiful place, surrounded by such wonderful people.

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring every need was met. The location is exceptional—beautiful and serene, with an amazing view from the villas. Speaking of the villas, they are among the most stunning you'll find in Vietnam, with top-quality furniture and an overall luxurious feel. The pool is beautiful and perfect for both adults and children, while the beach, with its soft beige-yellow sand, is just as impressive. Although the sea is slightly choppy, it's still perfectly safe. The restaurants offer excellent cuisine, and we were treated to several thoughtful gestures throughout our stay. We’re leaving with unforgettable memories, full of joy and admiration for this place. If I could, I would give it a 11/10!

We absolutely loved everything.

The most dreamy hotel, 10/10 in every area. The rooms are so beautiful, we stayed in the sea view villa which was stunning. The attention to detail in the villas is so good, they clean your room twice a day & leave lil treats everytime they clean which is a nice touch. The complimentary activities are unreal, there are around 15 to choose from everyday from incense making, coffee making, vietnamese classes to paddle boarding and kayaking. There’s also tennis and badminton equipment you can use anytime, even a games room with a PS5 and board games. The buggies will take you everywhere you need to go within the hotel, and you can also use the facilities at their sister hotel next door which has a bigger pool area and has other restaurants to choose from. The food was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had, they cater for any and all dietary restrictions and are aware of your dietary restrictions wherever you go in the hotel which is sweet. The breakfast is also absolutely unreal! The location of the hotel is near to Hue in Central Vietnam but they will provide you with a complementary driver from Hoi An or Da Nang both ways. I absolutely recommend this hotel for a special birthday or honeymoon, it’s such a fantastic place. That I couldn't spend more time there!

We were originally due to stay 4 nights, but enjoyed the hotel so much we stayed an extra night, the hotel is quite exceptional, our room was quiet, private and very comfortable, the restaurants on site and adjacent hotel/golf course all provide exceptional meals and service from the ever smiling attentive staff. Our personally assigned assistant Ngot, organised and arranged everything for us from check in to check out and all excursions, nothing was too much trouble and her attention to small details was so much appreciated.

My wife would have much preferred a towlling bathrobe, rather than the cotton kimono style robe provided.

Fantastic hotel - great view from the terrace and pool on the terrace, fantastic service. The hotel felt empty even though the staff mentioned a few times that the hotel was busy in the period we were there. The full family loved it!

We struggle to think of anything they can improve, but here are some very minor ones: the menu in some of the restaurants are only digital by QR code by your phone. This was annoying on the occasions that we did not all bring our phones for dinner (we try to encourage phone free meals..). The yoga class was great, but getting quite hot for the 3pm class. The gym has a good airco, it could be useful to have this also in the yoga location for the very hot time periods where it is too hot to open all doors to the nature…

It almost goes without saying that the hotel was absolutely immaculate - the sea view villa was exceptional and the facilities were excellent. The beach was powder soft sand and almost deserted! Felt like you could be on a private island! But combine this with a world class golf course and staff that are truly the friendliest, most helpful I have ever come across and you create a magical resort. Our host (Windy) was always (always!) available to make bookings, arrange activities / cars…and super friendly. The restaurant staff went above and beyond every day preparing bespoke regional dishes / request (Nho Le - a special thank you from our family!). I simply don’t understand how the hotel could improve (bigger gym?). Exceptional in every respect.

Nothing to note

Very comfortable Villa located in a larger resort with every facility you could want. Staff excellent and went out of their way to make your stay memorable. Great cocktail lounge - Bar manager Thien was knowledgeable and welcoming and Happy hour good value. Restaurants lots to choose from the 2 hotels. Golf course recommended Cooking class fun -Y was a great teacher. Villa hosts Man and Daniel went out of their way to help make the stay comfortable.

Nothing

The suite in this luxury hotel is lavishly furnished and beautifully fragranced. Our unit looked over a lagoon and provided a sense of complete privacy and tranquility. The buffet breakfast included was delicious, offering a comprehensive selection of both western and eastern dishes. There was great attention to details and our villa host - Mi, was most passionate about the ethos of the hotel. A surprise belated birthday cake - both in the form of edible cake and decorative tower made from cloth, awaited on return from our dinner on our last night. Thank you.

We were excited about the yoga lessons provided for guests but found we missed the only one session during our stay.... Lunch was limited to one restaurant which served ok western food, although the room service menu was offered (and we found out on the last day that snacks were served at the bar). The location of the hotel was remote, such that once checked in, we felt confined within it which made it slightly stifling after having explored more widely in other locations.

100% holidays Everything was great, very delicious varied breakfast, very comfortable room with everything you need and a beautiful view of the lagoon and hills. Very attentive friendly staff, Man and Ngok were very helpful. There are many opportunities for both active and relaxing holidays. In this hotel you don't have to worry about anything, you know that you are taken care of, you just relax and enjoy 100%
