An exceptional place to relax. The resort is beautifully designed and decorated, it really has a paradisiacal atmosphere - especially the wooden cottages closer to the bay. A huge plus is the food - it is really delicious, some of the best meals we tried in Vietnam! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the place is well-maintained and you can feel very taken care of and fully relax. It is also a very interesting area - there is a nature park nearby, a village of fishermen you can visit, as well as the Rory’s bar which is an exciting place to spend an evening and meet a lot of great people. Within a short distance by scooter we can get to beautiful beaches - such as Khem Beach (about half an hour). We wholeheartedly recommend staying here!

Superb value for money, has friendly staff, a lovely location, and a nice pool. The food menu is varied and reasonably priced, and the food quality is good. The saltwater lagoon is a nice touch, providing a safe environment to swim and kayak plus a little beach for those essential sand castles.

Loved the isolation and serenity of the place. Far away from touristic places that it was absolutely quiet. Love the view from the room as well.

A lot of stairs. There wasn’t any proper white sand beach, but a man made lagoon. The name can be a bit misleading.

The quiet side of the island was really calming. The people who work here are so friendly and kind. The food was amazing, all very fresh and with great taste. The staff spoke English very well. We also loved our bunglow, made of wood and with a comfy bed. The pool was very nice and clean, with comfy beds. This resort is not a place where you walk into the sea in a second. There is a small beach side where you can get into the water, but it is too shallow to swim. We were fine by that, the view was amazing and we enjoyed walking on the pier, looking at the fishermanhouses on the left side of the resort. Really recommending this place!

Price for transport was a bit overdone. We asked for a taxi, but got a private driver who charged double. That might be something to consider.

I stayed in a bungalow and I loved it. The view from the very spacious terrace was amazing. The staff were always happy to help. I also liked the pool and the general ambience of the place. It's a very quite place, beautifully maintained with loads of flora around. The sunrise is wonderful and you can watch it from the end of the private pier. Thanks to its location you can also observe the life and work of the fishing community nearby. I was there outside the main season so at that point the beautician has left for her holidays but the staff arranged for the taxi to take me to Duong Dong where I had all sorts of treatments done. That's why I put a point less for the facilities. It's a perfect place for a peaceful break but quite remote. Next time I will rent a scooter, which you can do at the premises!

I would have liked a larger beach next to the hotel.

Great getaway for a few days to relax and do nothing. Location is very peaceful and guarantees you a great sleep and relaxtion. Very friendly and helpful staff that help with everything they can to make your vacation as comfortable as possible. Swimming pool is quite nice and clean.

Food is good but as long as you stay for no more than three days. After that it gets boring as there are no many options available and there are no nearby alternatives. When planning your stay keep in mind that this is the eastern side of the island and there's no beach at the resort. It is also quite far from all attractions and taxi may get quite expensive whether you want to go to the beach, VinPearl or VinWonders, etc. Once you are prepared and okay with this, you'll enjoy this place far away from noisy part of touristic Phu Quoc.

We stayed here for 8 days and felt like home the moment we arrived. The hosts are so lovely, kind and funny. The rooms were big, clean and comfortable. We had a minibar and a air condition in the room. We also loved the bar above the sea and the separate „own“ part of the sea, like a lagoon, where we could go swimming in. We will stay here again, when we‘re coming back to Phu Quoc in the future :-)

It's hard to describe how much I love this place! I did extensive research on the resorts and hotels on the island and finally chose Mango Beach Resort, which was an excellent choice for us. We initially planned for 5 days but ended up staying there for 28 days :) This is a small and cozy resort run by a local family. They really took care of us, and we felt like a part of their lovely family. The wooden bungalows had comfy beds and a nice terrace with a sea view. The garden with banana and mango trees, along with flowers, was beautiful and well-maintained. Breakfast was included and freshly cooked for us. The food was delicious with enough choices. However, the staff was ready to cook your favorite food if you asked for it, even a fresh catch from the sea. The resort has a private lagoon, which means there are no big waves or trash ( which is the seosana case, unfortunately), so we enjoyed a swim in the sea every day. I liked that there were yoga mats in the rooms - I enjoyed my yoga practice every morning on the balcony with a sea view. There were lots of sunbeds, free surfboards, coconut boats, life vests, games, books, etc., to enjoy our time there. Rollers were available for rent. The Wi-Fi was really good and strong everywhere in the resort - a great place for remote working. We had video calls without any problems. The massage near the pool was amazing. The masseuse worked wonders on my husband’s sprained leg. The resort is located on the east side of the island, where you can enjoy especially beautiful sunrises. The place is around 20-45 min drive from the main sightseeing spots and the city. However, the island is not so big, and it was easy to rent rollers or a car for a day ( apprx 40 eur) to explore the island. I also recommend to visit Rory's Place nearby, which was just a 5-minute walk from the resort and offered not only great cuisine but also great cocktails, music, different games, and an excellent mini-golf garden.

If to say something I missed a long walks on the beach. The beaches outside if resort is covered with trash, but this is the case everywhere.

Everything was perfect, such a quiet, peaceful and beautiful place. Nice food, wonderful bungalow, beautiful garden full of flowers and mango and coconut trees. Above all: Best staff during our whole trip. Tony made us feel like in heaven, thank you so much!!! Definitely so much more than what you could expect of a 3 star hotel.

This is a fabulously comfortable place on lovely Phu Quoc island. The stand out star is Harry who in his impeccable English made us laugh and also everything so easy from teaching me to ride a scooter to telling us where to go. Very comfortable bungalows.

We would just like to eat slowly - starters then a main course - while we realise this might not be conventional in Vietnam, we did ask but all the food comes quickly and at once.
