Location - ease of access to public transport excellent

Initial room allocated had unsuitable facilities and lighting. Was unsuitable for a long term stay. Staff were excellent in upgrading our room to the 11th floor to 1106. However, guests with unsuitable language and noise further down the corridor - we called the desk and security dealt with it appropriately A second incident on the night of the 16th May from a privately owned suit 1205 resulted in us with very little sleep with an international flight the next day. We were woken twice by security with knocks on the door but the loud "debate" from the balcony of 1205 continued till 4.00am. We did report to the desk next morning but were not informed of any outcome.

It's not as fancy as other hotels in Waikiki, but if you're looking for something basic, with necessary amenities, this is a good place to stay. Although the building is a bit old, the staff were friendly, and the rooms were well maintained and clean. It is located on the other end of Waikiki Beach, so you'll have to walk a few blocks to the main Waikiki area and the beach, but it's just a quick walk and since it's located away from the bustling area, it is much more quiet especially at night.

If you are driving here or plan to rent a car, parking space is limited and costs additional. They were able to hold a place for us, but yes, I didn't see much parking stalls, so I do believe in some cases you may not be able to park your car there.

Really clean rooms. Price was very affordable. I've stayed in some nice places when staycationing in Waikiki, the best being the penthouse at the Grand Hyatt, but the overall value of Aqua is second to none. Location is fantastic. Not far from plenty of activities, to include Waikiki beach and the Intl Mkt Pl. I always enjoy staying on Kuhio, where Aqua is at, more than Kalakaua. Pleasant staff that had a genuine way of promoting aloha, whereas some resorts give off a manufactured spirit. All things considered, Aqua would be my first choice for lodging if I couldn't get a room on one of the military installations. Highly recommend to travelers and kama'aina alike. Aloha. 🤙🏽

The plastic bags on both remotes. I understand that they help stop germs from being spread, but it's a little overkill for me.

1) Location was an easy walk to beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. 2) Bed was very comfortable. 3) Although the room seemed not to have had any decor updates in decades it was very clean. 4) Staff were very polite and helpful.

1) 1510 apartment needs a paint (white would be really nice) blockout curtains and sound proof windows. When people go on a summer holiday they want to be in a hotel room that feels bright and fresh! 3) Hotel situated close to a corner where 2 streets meet so the people and car traffic is very disruptive when you’re trying to sleep!

The location to everything we needed is great. It isn't a high end resort, however the hotel has everything we need for our stay, and it is the second time we have stayed here. It is clean, tidy and staff are always helpful whenever we need anything. Hassle free check-in, and the 24hr reception is perfect for checking out early hours of the morning. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't want the resort living, and is needing somewhere to stay while touring the islands. It has a laundry, onsite massages, vending machine for late snacking, microwave and small fridge also. Housekeeping staff regularly stop by for your needs too!

The air conditioner is a little loud. But no big deal

The room fit my needs perfectly . Had a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishes and silverware. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion were also provided. The room was spacious. Had a balcony with a city view. The pool was great. At times I was the only one there. Had laundry facilities on site. This is the third time I e stayed at this property and I will again on a future visit.

Customer representatives were friendly and helpful. The price of parking and option to self park met my expectations. The corner bar was convenient and relaxing. Bartenders were informational with near by restaurants and attentive to serving guests.

I was charged for an extra room that I did not book or use. Most importantly, I did not get my money back. A payment to my account is necessary. The company is highly unreasonable for taking and keeping that money. It's a form of theft in my opinion.

Complained about the first suite. Got a much better place to my surprise. Very happy about it.Thanks 👍

The location is great, 5 min to the beach and close to shopping area. The staff is friendly and helpful. Free cold drinking water & ice machines. Beach towels with an option to get dry fresh one all day long. Overall niceness, safety.

The hotel is getting old. Interior design looks like 80s, has its retro charm. I wish there was a breakfast buffet option too
