We had a great stay, not expecting all the trimmings for the price we paid given it was more affordable than other Waikiki hotels, and we were pleasantly surprised with comfy beds and pillows, great breakfast buffet included, a wonderful lei making workshop, brilliant location and decent view to the hotel across the way. Sure it was a wee bit dated but it was ideal for our family of four and spacious too with a great balcony. We’d rate this hotel for families who are looking to focus their time exploring Waikiki and the rest of O’ahu fuelled by a great breakie and looking for a comfy place to rest their heads and a location close to the beach and a super short stroll to the very heart of Waikiki. We had a fabulous stay and will be back one day for sure!

One street away from the beach, close to restaurants, and an all around convenient location. Some tour busses accommodate this hotel, but others I needed to go to other hotels to get picked up (this is only if you do some tours around Oahu). Had a fridge, satellite TV, a comfortable bed, and it was soundproofed pretty well from neighbors. It is a bit outdated, but the price was alot cheaper than other hotels. FYI, continental breakfast, microwave, ice machine, water dispenser available on 2nd floor. The staff was helpful as well and they have a rental car reception area and a tour guide setup in the hotel lobby. Breakfast restaurant and seperated bar area in the hotel lobby as well.

The room didn't have a door latch, which I've never seen in other hotels before... be aware if that's an issue for you. It had the key card input and a door lock.

Location is great, close to Waikiki beach (ca 100m or so). Room was upgraded to bigger.

Breakfast was satisfactory, could have been e.g. ham/sausage/bacon in addition to scrambled eggs. And cheese could also have been provided. Cost of parking for hotel quest could be cheaper @ 47$ per night is quite expensive, especially if there is no good alternatives

Great location. Nice, clean and comfy rooms, swimming pool, restaurant and on site daily activities. Reasonably priced compared to competition nearby.

Free breakfast was quite repetitive, but there were few options and food was overall good.

Location, helpful staff

Our room had 17th floor city view yet outside police and ambulance sirens woke us several times. Sliding glass door rattled with the wind most of night. It is obviously an older property with thin walls that carried sound from adjacent room.

The hotel is just one block back from Waikīkī beach. We were able to walk everywhere from there. The room was a great size. It was fantastic having our breakfast included. It provided all the options we needed.

The pool area was quite soulless. Not very inviting.

The location!!! Wow! You are a block from Waikiki beach and a walk away from Kalakaua for shopping with great eats nearby!! There are also good DVD rental choices free with the room. Housekeeping is super nice!

We upgraded twice to get a room with a partial ocean view. I don't know why I needed to make the first upgrade upon booking and the second upgrade upon checking in only to get the room we received. I feel like only one upgrade is needed. There are also additional fees upon checking in such as paying for a nightly parking.

The location was perfect for us. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't hear much noise from the street although we were on the relatively lower level. Breakfast had more variety than we expected. There were fruits, salad and some sort of hot option everyday. Microwave, ice machine, water refill machines and laundry facilities in the common area.

The atmosphere of the breakfast venue was rather depressing although the waiting staff were all lovely. The swimming pool area could be improved as well. Maybe a jacuzzi? Some plants, at least. And a shower, definitely!! No change facility after check out which was disappointing.

Loved how close to the beach the hotel is. Just one block away! Restaurants were a short walk to the main street. There is every type of restaurant you would want, ranging in price and taste. Loved that the hotel had a continental breakfast every morning. My room was not large but had 2 queen beds and a great view of the ocean. The pool and area was clean and quiet as I think most people went to the beach. You can get beach towels to use at the pool or beach.

Overall, everything was good. The showers are small but not a big deal. The AC was hard to get to a comfortable temperature at night. I was either to warm or too cold.

Lots of good points. The hotels location one street back had all the benefits of a sea front hotel but was much quieter. The lady at reception when we checked in ridiculously early was fantastic and super helpful. The room (1616) was huge, well equipped and had a superb view of both mountains and sea. The people who clean the rooms do an absolutely amazing job and the room was spotless. The balcony had furniture, was a good size and felt safe. The bed was large and comfy. The shower was hot and powerful. The free toiletries were of a good quality and lovely odour. The lobby was relaxing and spacious. The swimming pool was large, clean, quiet and relaxing.

The toiletries were individual and not refillable which must create lots of plastic waste. The breakfast was poor with little choice (no pancakes or waffles or bacon or sausages or potatoes or granola or rolls or cheese...) The disposable cups at breakfast were wasteful and unnecessary as there was a sign prohibiting take outs. Environmental impact... Cost impact??? The bar area is dark and completely unwelcoming. The parking charge is probably in line with other hotels in the area but we found it extortionate. Some staff on reception were less helpful.
