I loved the vintage Ottoman-style architecture, which gave the hotel a unique and charming character. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The facilities were well-maintained and offered both modern convenience and traditional elegance. The stylish décor added to the warm and inviting atmosphere, making the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was another highlight—fresh, delicious, and a perfect way to start the day. Overall, the combination of comfort, style, and historical charm made my stay truly memorable.

Excellent location at the intersection of the main road, the castle road and the walking boulevard. Friendly staff, very well-kept heritage house. Upgrades seem to be in progress (my bathroom had a new-looking walk-in shower, though the rest of the fixtures were not yet upgraded). Lovely view towards the walking boulevard. Well insulated from outside noises, but creaky internal floors. Nice spread for breakfast and they even prepared it early for me on my day of departure.

Everything was perfect. The location was great, the hotel is in the centre of the town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of traditional dishes offered 😍😍 The room was clean and the bed was very very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

It's such a lovely hotel! When you enter, the reception/breakfast room looks like an old tavern where Aragorn might sit in a corner. The receptionist is an accommodating middle-age man with a gentle voice. Breakfast is not a buffet, but it looks like buffet was brought to your table, and in addition to the classics there are some more original options (homemade cream rice!). The location is ideal in the historical centre and close to the river and the bar areas. The hotel is quiet and comfortable enough. All that for €28 a night.

The air conditioning is not enough to keep the room cool for a long time Wi-fi was weak in the bedroom and would sometimes disconnect. Payment only in cash (but they take both Euro and Lek, or a mix of both in my case).

The owners are extremely hospitable and gracious. They checked in with us to make sure everything was ok with our stay. This historic hotel is so interesting to be inside. The breakfast is delicious and abundant. The location is perfect for exploring Berat and there are lots of restaurants nearby to enjoy. The bed was comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay in Berat. Your hospitality and thoughtfulness (so generous to offer us a ride to the bus station) really made our trip memorable.

Ferdinando :) is the owner he’s the best host in town!!! Very very kind man, he drove us to the bus terminal with his personal car for free and reserved two seats to continue the journey. The hotel is well located to reach everything by walking. The room was good with a double bed, air conditioner with small bathroom. It was very nice to see the decorations inspired in Albanian traditions.

Great location, really friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, clean room, very safe. Due to road construction we had a hard time getting the car to the hotel but a staff member walked with me so we could show my husband where to go and then he parked for us to get around the construction and put the car directly in front of the hotel door. Really helpful, we would not have figured it out.

Beautiful historic building in the centre of the city, the room was also great and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty. All in all, I can totally recommend this hotel.

In the summer I prefer sleeping with open windows instead of using an air-conditioner. Unfortunately, it was too loud outside and I woke up too many times,but it wasn't the fault of the hotel.

really kind and flexible staff. the location is amazing, super close to all the old town interest and local shops/restaurants. the room was pristine and bed was so comfy. extra points for the most amazing breakfast, so yum!! :) overall just great value for money

it's nitpicky but the lighting in the bathroom could be better. but other than that everything was perfect :)

The kind and helpful people of the hotel. The boss even parked my car in front of the hotel. Breakfast was real nice and plenty full. The location is perfect, close to many cafés and restaurants

On Booking.com it said that this hotel accepts credit cards but it turned out they didn't, so I was obligated to withdraw money from an ATM with more than 6€ charge
