Such an amazing place it felt like we were staying in a piece of history. The building and rooms are beautiful, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with antiques. It’s lovely to have modern bathrooms though. The staff are amazing and so keen to make sure they exceeded expectations. Chatting, bringing fresh fruit and juice whilst we were at the pool, helping with recommendations etc. The pool was amazing as it was 35 degrees during our stay so great to cool off. Location is hard to beat. An almost level 5 min walk to the bazaar past a few restaurants, museums and a highly recommended bakery (70lek ice creams).

Nice traditional house with good renovation of bathrooms and confortable beds. Family atmosphere.

The pool was much smaller than I thought (you wouldn't be able to use for lapping) and it was impossible for us to find the way to reach the hotel with our car. I first parked at the underground parking below the old town, which is pretty far away by foot, and in the evening decided to take the car back to the hotel to make it easier to leave the next day. Google map kept sending us through streets which were impossible to practice with the car (dead-ends or super steep streets), so we ended up leaving the car even further down than the 1st garage option. That was very frustrating. Also the staff tried to help us with directions but were unable to give us proper indication on how to reach the hotel by car.

The personal was exceptionally kind, I recall particularly when they cared so much about our children they brought additional towels to warm them up getting out of the pool. No to talk about the other nice attentions such as juice when we arrived as refreshments, ...

The hotel is well located but difficult to drive up the streets, however you cannot expect to be closed to the old town and not having to get up. If you drive there follow the hotel recommend way and not Google maps' one.

this property is really old and has wonderful character but as it’s only recently been used as a hotel the facilities such as the bathrooms are excellent - modern but beautifully in keeping. it’s a perfect location to wonder into the town visit the castle or museum the staff were so welcoming and generous, bringing water, juice and fruit to us. one staff member was also a qualified tour guide and he was very patient with us as we asked him lots of questions about history and culture.

There was unfortunately no parking spot even though I specifically requested it upon booking - we ended up paying for a private parking right near the hotel (5 euros per day)

The real example of "people make the places". Staff is beyond helpful and caring. Kilda, Lola, Vicky, the girl that helps with the cleaning and the AC Milan fan: all of them fantastic and made my staying here sooooo lovely that i stayed another night. Top Team! Obrigada pelo carinho!

Great stay & nice to have a pool to chill at in the middle of old Gjirokaster! Not the biggest but nice to cool down. Good room in traditional style. 4-5 private parking spots available

Not supereasy to find and a bit steep driving up the hills.

Beautiful historic house, super comfortable bed. Really nice to have breakfast by the pool with amazing views. Very friendly and helpful staff. The property has two adorable kitties too.

Incredible experience .

The Owners of the Hotel are amazing and very kind! They helped me to reach my bus to another city and sended me a driver without any cost immediately! Every wish I had,they assisted me and organized everything. They trusted my full with the payment! (I paid my room at the end of my stay) The hotel and the stuff was amazing!

Charming and quiet hotel with super nice and helpful staff. Good swimming pool and great patio where you can have breakfast. They have friendly cats and kittens and a couple of tortoises. We had the family room where we found some toys for our child.

Everything was good, maybe the family room could be bigger and not on top of the building
